Default C7 side marker lights

I have a 2016 Stingray coupe. I want to black out / smoke the front and rear side marker lights. Recommendations? Vette-lights.com? I also like the fully lit markers vs the limited stock ones.

Oracle lights tend to be the favorite because they are the least likely to interfere with the TPMS sensors. Some of the blackout kits emit a frequency that trips TPMS errors after longer drives.

I’ve had several kits and have experienced that issue, but never with Oracle lights. That TPMS issue is nagging, but not a huge deal IMO.

Oracle as well. A little pricey but worth it.

It does seem like Oracle’s lights do not have the TPS issue but they do tend to not sit flush with the body panels. I bought mine from JW Motoring and have on occasion had the TPS problem, but overall I am pleased with the lights.

Another vote for Oracle. I got mine cheaper at VetteLights.com.

I opted for the clear with the 2 LED's like stock. Didn't need the whole thing lit up. Can't remember where I got them. But they work fine, hold up to water, heat, & sit flush.

I'm curious about the TPMS issue. Is it that the sensors don't work at all, or that some part of the signal is blocked? I ask because I have a set of marker lights (not Oracle) and my TPMS sensors report tire pressure just fine. But they also report that the tire temps are always WARM, no matter the actual temp outside.

It will usually show a line, instead of number, where the front right tire pressure is displayed

Hello,
When you have the interference with the JW M lights what do you do to rectify, re-set the issue ?
Thank you,
If you shut the engine off and then re-start it does it re-set the issue ?
Rich

The company that wrapped the front end of my car applied dark tint over the markers. Perhaps PPF is available to do that?

I purchased my black out side marker lights on Ebay and haven't had any issues,,,, $50. This is what the sight said about the lights. I assume they are talking about interference. I love them! SO,,,, maybe just the 2014 doesn't have the issue.

Lens Color: Smoke/Tinted

Light Color: Amber+Red

Error free, no On-board computer error, no FM interference.

Ultrasonically sealed, IP67 waterproof.

The Chevrolet Corvette C7 LED side marker light is plug and play,5 minute install. Fit directly into your vehicle's stock side marker moldings,no further modification required.

Sounds like the ACS marker lights. I have the dark tinted version of these. No issues and I prefer the more subtle effect.

I simply got one of the stick-on smoked cover sets (great with a black car). They fit perfectly, went on easily, and still in perfect shape 7+ years later. No hassles, no disassemble, etc. Sorry, I'm not at home to check my receipts for the brand. All the best.
