Ehh, lots of them but the most well known might be BBS, HRE and Forgeline.

All forged companies use the same 6061-T6 Forged aluminum on their wheels. Really comes down to how much you want to spend on the brand.

Theirs companies like Vossen, MV Forged, ANRKY Wheels, Brixton Forged, HRE Wheels, Forgeline, Strasse Wheels that start anywhere from $6k up to $20k on a set of wheels.
And then theres middle brands that make wheels overseas and USA for a fraction of the cost like CCW, Weld, BC Forged, Signature, Forgedlite wheels, and even our very own models that range from $3k-$6k a set.
As far as Best Brand there’s really no such thing as they all have or share the same things in some sort of way. Most manufacturers use the same suppliers, same programmers and same HASS machines.
What I can say top trending brands right now would start with Vossen, AL13, MV Forged, ANRKY, Brixton, Forgedlite, and Forgeline.
I would recommend to check out these brand and choose the styles and finishes that you like and go from there.
Feel free to email me for any questions.
Here to help.

^ Sound advice - lots of options that you can choose from and just depends on how much you are willing to pay for a set of wheels.

Sounds subjective without a specific criteria.

The structural warranty on Apex is nice. Plus if you smash one into a curb they do a 50% discount on the replacement.

Hello

There are tons of wheel companies these days. And all wheel companies DO NOT use the same T6-6061 Forgings. Manufacturers like Forgeline and only a few other wheel Manufacs use APP forgings which are 100% from the USA and cost quite a bit more compared to their overseas counterparts.

https://www.aluminumprecision.com/ca...forged-wheels/

HRE has been in business 40 yrs
Forgeline has been in business 30 years

All wheels are definitely not created equal which is why you can pay 3k-over 25k for Carbon wheels depending on what you choose

https://www.motortrend.com/features/...-in-the-u-s-a/

We here at CW4L have been serving the Best custom Forged Wheels on this forum since 2010

From Forgeline an excerpt:
Some of you may know that my brother, Dave, and I quite literally grew up in the wheel business, as our father, Jim Schardt, owned Dayton Wire Wheel throughout the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. We also grew up at the racetrack, as our dad was an avid club racer, so Dave and I started racing at a young age. Dave ended up having some success as a professional racer in the Speedvision World Challenge series, and I am still serving as a national-level instructor.

Because of our unique experience blending wheel manufacturing with competitive motorsports, we launched Forgeline Motorsports in 1994 to manufacture lightweight forged racing wheels in the United States. Over the 30 years since, Forgeline has continued to grow into a highly-respected manufacturer of custom wheels, and our extensive racing experience has led to the opportunity to manufacture wheels for some of the fastest vehicles on the planet, including the Hennessey Venom F5, Ford GT Mk IV, and Ford Mustang GT4, plus three decades worth of various professional GT-class and countless club-level racecars.

More recently, we were asked by Chevrolet and Pratt & Miller to engineer a wheel for the new C8 Corvette Z06 GT3.R global motorsports platform that could achieve a very demanding set of metrics for deflection stiffness, fatigue strength, and low weight. The result of that effort is our one piece forged monoblock SS1R-GT wheel, and every C8 Corvette Z06 GT3.R competing anywhere throughout the world will be equipped with a 18x12.5/18x13.0 fitment of the Forgeline SS1R-GT.

The new C8 Corvette GT3.R made its racing debut at the 2024 Rolex 24 at Daytona, but there are several teams who will be racing the GT3.R throughout the world in a variety of different sanctioned racing series. We're looking forward to watching them compete, and we plan to share more about their efforts here in the forum.

Though we have grown significantly since 1994, We continue to manufacture our forged wheels in Dayton, Ohio. And we continue to utilize exclusively U.S.-sourced parts, including our industry-leading APP aluminum forgings that meet the most stringent aerospace and defense industry specifications. We are certain that our very high standards for raw materials, manufacturing quality, and customer service are not only business attributes but also performance factors that lead directly to success on the racetrack and better experiences for our customers.

There really is a Forgeline difference when it comes to performance, quality, safety, and customer service. These differences matter, not just on the racetrack, but also on the street and in your garage too.

We understand the importance of your hard work to drive these awesome Sports Cars and there are now Tons of wheels available in the market.

How each individual values certain Attributes like Quality, Price, Reliability and Service is unique to all of us which is why we will never tell you what to buy or not buy as we all work very hard for each dollar.

For those that wish to work with us we are pleased to offer the best the Forged Wheel Market has to offer such as

Forgeline
HRE
AL13
MV Forged
Anrky
Brixton

etc etc

My name is Gerry and Im the owner here at CW4L and also a huge Vette Enthusiast and only carry wheels that we use on our vehicles. My C7R with over 800HP runs on Forgeline VX1 Wheels.

So if we can help like we have thousands of customers over the years please Call/Text us at 440-915-6166

Default what is the best brand for fully forged , best quality aftermarket wheels?

Hello, My name is Steve Schardt and I founded Forgeline 30 years ago. I have wanted to join in these discussions for some time and finally I have found some time to do so. I am not here to promote but to join in the discussion. I read the comments above and I understand their position. My opinion is not how much you want to pay for a forged wheel but what is it that you want from a forged wheel... This could be a long term decision and price is not the only factor. Please do some research. How long has the manufacturer been in business? Who is making the actual wheel? What is the load rating? ( this is important and not a smoke screen) Do you care if it is made in the USA? Will you track the car? I welcome any questions you may have. We are not going anywhere. I will continue to share some more posts in the near future that can demonstrate some of our reasoning. Why all 6061 T6 alloys are not the same. There are reasons why Forgeline is on the Corvette racing team GT3 cars and I look forward to sharing them with you.

Sort of like asking what is the "best" color so you will receive multiple answers. Some very good manufacturers out there with many styles and finishes available. I'm happy with my Forgeline wheels. AR1s for my C7Z and SC1s for my C5 convertible.

Happy shopping!

I’m very happy with my Forgeline VX1’s fully polished. Certainly not the least expensive, but good quality and Gerry from CW4L was great to deal with. Lots of choices so have some fun shopping!

I am a big fan of Forgeline wheels. I've had 3 sets on various cars over the past few years including the VX1Rs in my current 19 Z06.

I purchased all of them from CW4L.

The lack of wheel options for the weird z51 rear offset is probably the worst part of the car I've come across.
Basically you're restricted to either "close but not quite" offsets that will stick out and require a high ride height or dropping $5000 on custom wheels

BC Forged on a Z51. Offsets are perfect.

Our race car runs exclusively on Apex Wheels, Forged VS5-RS. Great wheel, strong, very light weight, Good clearances for going with 18in options, and the best replacement deal on damaged wheels.
We run our Apex wheels with Pirelli slicks, over 1000 miles a year on track. They eat up curbs like its nothing, no damage what so ever and they still look brand new! Kind of...

I love my Forgeline VX1 wheels in gloss black I got from Gerry at CW4L. It’s been about 5 years now and I still love them just as much from day 1. Gerry was so helpful, knowledgeable , and patient with me because I knew nothing and he explained everything and anything that was on my mind. I highly recommend Gerry at CW4L

Best bang for buck Forged wheel? We can do a set of BC Forged.

We can also do HRE, Forgeline, AL13, all the big name brands but cost 2-3x more than BC Forged.

That kinda depends...
We like the stock Z51 wheels, which are forged. Ours have taken some really hard hits, including two that ruined the tire, on the bombed-out roads of the midwest and are just fine.
We like the stock silver color but you can have them repainted any color you want.
There are probably hundreds of like-new wheels that people removed from their C7 shortly after purchase and stored in the garage. Just be sure to inspect in person and have them spun by a tire shop, or have a 100% return policy.
Everyone's taste is diferent.

Well, Forgeline it is! I plan on upgrading my 2019Z wheels this summer. I just need to sell the L72 and I’ll be good to go.

Some pictures for impact!

Best is subjective. With that said, I've been in the market for forged wheels for my Grand Sport, and have decided on Aerolarri. I've seen various designs in person (locally and at Carlisle last summer) and like what they offer (both quality and price, and customer service has been phenomenal so far).

I don't think you can wrong with the many recommendations already provided, it would come down to personal preference.

BC Forged on my GT500.

They make this same wheel for SHELBY, with SHELBY markings on the wheel. Mine are the same specs as those.
