Battery fumes!
I know that the batteries have a vent with a vent line but do the batteries create a vapor/fumes while using a battery maintainer? If so, is it safe to cover the car with a cover while using a maintainer?

Melting Slicks
Same here I cover my car and have the wire run down the side of my car under the cover then plug it in. Zero problems been doing this 5-6 months at a time for 6 years now when stored for the winter

Should be no problems covering the car while attached to a battery maintainer.

Vent lines look to run out the bottom or some such.
