Default 2015 c7 60k miles needs maintenance

I just hit 60k miles and am going to take her in for a maintenance check.. I did.check the tensioner and it's leaking so will replace that..

What else do you guys think I should check?

Should I get new plugs? Change rear axle fluid?

Am thinking of just replacing water pump as a proactive measure.. those have routinely gone bad on my prior vettes..

Any suggestions???

Thanks!!!

The Service and Maintenance section of the Owners Manual is full of information.

Yes that's very true, unfortunately it doesn't say stuff like your water pump is likely to go out at 60k miles or your tensioner will probably start leaking so replace those.

I'm thinking of more real world type issues that possibly were unforeseen at the time the manual was written, altho that is a good place to start I do agree.

And altho they may recomend something like changing plugs, inthe real world it may not really be necessary.

Thanks.

I’m not sure I would replace parts that are working just fine but that is up to you. If you have not changed out your coolant since new, this would be a good time to do it. Same with the brake fluid and air filter (at least have it checked).

I think spark plugs (depends on your engine maybe) need replacing. NGK said mine are good for 60K I believe. Or 50k. So I replaced them

You may want to change the rear differential fluid. Many of our cars were under filled by the diff manufacturer.
