No idea on the frame scratches, but congrats on a great-looking (and correctly-colored ) Corvette!

I can’t confirm but is this a Z51 car and could that be where brake air ducts mount?

2023 C7 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
C5 of Year Finalist (stock) 2019

I made the transition back in March from a low mile 2004 Z06 to my current 2016 Stingray. However, my C7 is also a manual.

I miss the Z06, but I think my M7 C7 is just as enjoyable to drive (cruise and crazy), but in a much more refined and comfortable environment!!

I wish I could help with the frame scuffs, but I will keep checking back to see if the mystery gets solved!

Good Luck and WELCOME to the world of C7!!

It’s not a Z51.

C5 to C7 GS here. Both awesome. Wondering if the scrape marks are from the racks on a car hauler when transported between dealers etc. I haven't studied the pictures enough to zero in on exactly where they are. Or maybe from "those" people that use car washes rubbing on the guide rails?

Great Choice in color and especially going with the best looking generation and last of the front engine Corvettes as we knew it!

Nice find!

I wonder if the scrape marks are from a tow truck, i.e. repo'd? I know my 2016 3LT, if I have my suspention on anything other then Sport/track, then I scrape any speed bumps. Under Sport/Track modes, then suspention stiffens up and doesnt scrape.

There isn't enough room to get past the sway bar for either jack stands or a tow truck hook up. The radiator support takes most of the abuse whenever these cars scrape the pavement. Just no way for that type of damage to reach the frame.
Thanks to everyone who responded to my question. This may be one of those things that remains a mystery.
And thanks to everyone that commented on my new (to me) C7. I'm really pleased with it and really like the gray interior with the red body. So far it appears to be a really good car. No surprises!
