Default Need New Rims

Well, all four of my rims are bent and no local place to get them fixed. Looking around I see a Vorsteiner wheel style I like. Would appreciate any feedback from those who have these as to quality, fit and finish.

Thanks in advance for any input.

2 options: flow forged or fully forged. Flow forged is your cheaper option, yet still 100% better than your factory wheels. I went the fully forged route

I also went with the same wheels and tires on my Admiral Blue Grand Sport.

I bought a set of forged monobloc wheels from KRNC forged for less than 3k . They have 100s of styles and unlimited custom finishes. As long as you are willing to wait 3 to 4 months for delivery, its well worth the wait. I can send u pics if you PM me. If I wanted the same wheels for 8k that every other c7 owner has, id have kept the stock wheels lol. I just dont get it, but to each his own!

Whatever you get, just make sure they are quality fully-forged. Such should be considered part of the price-of-admission to wide-bodies.

Do you have a budget and timeline in mind? We have wheels under $2k ready to go non forged, and we can also do wheels that take up to a month at $10k (HRE/AL13/ etc) or BC Forged for about $4-5k.

Disagree about the price of admission, but we all get our opinions which is fine by me. . Flow forged are fine to me ,unless I’m racing and looking for tenths of a second, which I am not. I only paid 40K for my car so 8K for wheels is a no go. I’m actually looking at som AR wheels on Tire Rack. Going smaller, 18/19 and all seasons. . Probably will get banished lol

Your welcome. I had no idea you were associated with Tire Rack. I hear many good things about Discount Tire, but we have none near my in Jersey. I've bought many , many tires and wheels form Tire Rack over the years.

I bent all four factory wheels and all four aftermarket forged wheels. I think my next set will be 18/19 as well.

Roads are bad in Jersey. Must be worse where you are. To my eyes, 18's and 19's still look great. I actually don't like the look of super low profile and my 19/20 fall into that category because the tire size. I've bent wheels in the past with different cars. You can only be so careful.

I've heard the same from people in our club near Chicago about bending.

BC Forged RZ01’s in Champagne Bronze. Worked with Alex at MotorsportsLA. Went with 20” fronts, 21” rear 1” wider at each corner. Offsets are PERFECT, with the wheels/tires perfectly flush with the wheel well openings. Also reduced unsprung weight by 3lbs at each corner. And no, they do not rub.

Forgeline Black Ice F01 wheels are a popular choice, but we have many other wheels to choose from at Surf City Corvettes
