New to me GS Convertible
I haven’t seen many like this. 17 GS Convertible 2LT with the red heritage stripes. Had to buy it. Don’t get me wrong, I loved my 72 but you can’t beat the modern car look, ride & power.
Sad to see her go

Beautiful old car; and beautiful new(er) one. Enjoy.
Had a gentleman compliment our '16 ragtop, and he asked why we opted for a "new" Corvette rather than an old classic one. Seems to us that it depends on what one wants with the car. The old classics are great to look at and show off, but we road trip in ours and we think an old one would not be so good for that purpose.
We trudge on.

Nice ride!
I was nostalgic for my '95 Roadster for about a year. But, every time I put the top up on the C7, with the push of a button (sometimes while I was rolling), having a trunk, instant go and instant stop, and the sheer power of 460 HP, it slowly went away.
You are going to have a lot of fun drives! 🚗

@c7gsm7vert
Good decision and choice of Corvette. Of course, I'm biased toward the Grand Sport vert. After 26 years in a 1963 vert, I'm still amazed at the improvement, especially on the streets of San Francisco!

Ok two bad you could not keep them both as the 1970-1972 are my favorite looking Corvettes besides the wide body C7's. If i had to choose one I would have done what you did but it sure would have been hard to let that 1972 roadster go. Enjoy the new C7 and make a big poster of the C2 and frame it and hang it in the garage then you wont miss it that much especially after driving a C7 night and day from the C2.
