First start in the morning.
The last 2 C7s I have owned have been that way.
While starts are almost instant during the day, the first start in the morning always cranks for several seconds before the car starts.
No other issues other than that.
Normal ?

Ours does the same. I (heard? read?) that the delay is the injection system pressurizing after an overnight bleed-down.

Sounds normal to me. Mine also cranks for a few seconds in the morning before starting.

My C5 doesn't do that.

Sounds like the battery may be losing it.

Still trying to find the ignition key on our C7...
You can do the same thing by keeping your foot off the brake/clutch and holding the start button in for 7 (?) seconds. At first it just goes into Accessory, then into a Maintenance mode that brings everything to life except the starter. That mode doesn't time out, and will kill your battery if you just leave it there without starting.

No issue for me, but I agree; see all the temp posts. I never drive mine in the cold since the tires don't allow it.

Here in the greater Chicagoland area one again we had a super easy and mild November and December, but got punched in the face hard in January with some bitter cold and more salt than I recall seeing on all roads! As such, let the official Countdown Continue:
1. Just 67 days now until April 1, 2024 (feel free to double check my math ).
and
2. Just 55 days now from Calendar Spring on March 19, 2024. (feel free to double check my math ).
