Anyone sue about the 3LT dash problems?
I have a Chevy premium extended and they say they won't cover it. Lot of money for a extended. Defiantly defect in materials and workmanship. Anyone had any luck with GM.

I would think if it is a GM extended, not a third party extended they should cover it. I have read a lot on this issue as I have a3LT and anyone under the GM warranty had it covered.

Check your list of exclusions under the warranty. If the interior components is not listed, it should be covered.

Most extended service plans are for mechanical coverage and not cosmetic. I just replaced the 3LZ dash in my Z06. Well over 10 hours of work and that doesn't even count the cost of the dash. GM knows its a problem and still wont do anything to help. I have read that they have gone to a new supplier with different adhesive. Think back this started with the door panels in the C5.

That is correct. You would have to find someone to install. Dash will probably run about $2000. How close are you to St Louis,MO?

Mine was done under warranty . I had to service tech take photos before the warranty was up, took my baby out of winter storage and had all replaced (2 days in shop) for free last year.
It was about 36000 mi and 3 years. Car is under cover for 3 +/- mo.a year, in New York. If I waited a few more months with no photo I'd pay out lots to get it done. GM knows.

Suing GM? A total waste of time and money, except for your attorney(s)... especially if you think having the dash repaired is expensive.

An individual lawsuit is a waste of time. A class action lawsuit is the only type of legal action that gets the attention of GM or any other manufacturer. The A-8 lawsuit gained legs after years of legal action. It also involved way more vehicles than just Corvettes and it involved a problem that rendered the vehicles inoperable. The dashboard problem involves a minority of C7 Corvettes and no other GM models and does not render the vehicle inoperable or dangerous. No way a court will even entertain any serious action.

MacMulkin quoted me almost $6K to replace a 3ZR dash. I was looking at a used 2019 ZR1 that was starting to delaminate. They said they can't order the replacement dash until they take it apart because there are different ones.
