Default C7 door won't open

Hello all...I have a 2019 GS, today out of the blue, I can't open the driver's side door from the inside, any ideas?

Thanks

If you are stuck inside, there is an emergency release lever on the floor by the sill.

Is everything else working? Give us some details.

Does your FOB activate the door?

can u open it from the outside?
if so I would assume the interior button should be taken out and looked at.
if u cant open it at all electrical button wise on either side, try the trunk release tab to get it open in general.
but certainly would start looking at the buttons first then the actuators in the door next perhaps..

FOB works and it opens from the outside, it's just that button that is pushed on the inside to open the door--no response now. Passenger side, no issues

I rolled down the window and opened it from the outside to get out!

The window works, so the wires from the door to cabin are likely OK. Pull the door panel and clean or replace the door release button.

How old is your battery? It could be telling you something...

Did you press the unlock button?

Sometimes my driver door will not unlock/open from the inside after I park the car and turn it off. I just press the unlock button and all is well.

If you push the lock/unlock button on the door panel and it still won't open when you push the open button, then I would think the open button is the culprit.

Unhook the negative battery cable for a couple minutes, then hook it back up, the results might surprise you.
