You ever miss your old Vette?
I have only had my C7 vert for about 6 weeks. It's the best Vette I have ever had. Every option and color I wanted. But when my C6 flashes across my digital picture frame I miss my C6. It kept me and wife sane through Covid. We would drop the top and ride to get out the house. You ever miss your old Vette?

Yes I regret selling many of my past vettes. Got my first one in 1975 and have had vettes since. One of the ones I let get away was a 1968. 454, 4 speed. I built this in the early 1990's

To be honest...not at all. In my case I had a C3 for 15 years...and a C5 for the same length of time. Bought my 2019 four years ago and still absolutely love it in every way.
The C3 was very primitive...although I loved the look of it. The C5 was a quantum leap forward and I thoroughly enjoyed it for all those years. The C7 isn't as drastic an upgrade from the C5 in comparison...but from the amazing exterior design to interior quality, extra highway cruising gear (7 vs 6 on the C5)...I've never looked backward.
I skipped the C4 and C6 generations so can't compare against those.

Bought my C5 when I was 24. I still have it. It was my first vette and only vette. I would like a newer one someday. I can’t imagine selling it for 10k, 15k, or 20k. I’d rather give it to my kids when they are old enough, then get another vette. It’s a full bolt on A4 car with 3.73 gears and yankSS3200. 79,000 miles.

Also when I was in high school, my Dad gave me his old 1977Impala. Everything broke on it. And we rebuilt it and painted it black. I was 19 at the time, we ended up with a 383 small block, dart heads, comp cam, 4 barrel carb, 350 turbo trans with a shift kit, and a 3.73 gear. Car probably made 400-425 engine horsepower and did consistent 13.9 at 100-101mph. Not bad for a 4door box Chevy. Car is gone but not forgotten.
Sorry, couldn’t find a better picture.

I still have my C7 that I bought new back in 2017. Recently I’ve seriously considered the C8 and when I was toying with the idea of putting up my car for sale I already started to miss it. It’s manual too so besides missing the C7 itself, I’d miss the feeling if driving manual. Decided not to get the C8 as I know I’d miss the C7 too much.

Finalist 2020 C7 of the Year -- Unmodified
I have been lucky to own 13 since 1993 but my favorite one I owned besides my C7 Z06 of course was a 2003 50th Ann. Vert I owned new back in 2003. I liked it so much that I bought one with 3000 miles on the clock and 1 owner 2 years ago. It is the first time I have been lucky enough to own two at the same time.

Yeah, I do miss my 2000 pewter coupe at times. It was a very good car and I had a lot of fun in it for the 7+ years I owned it.

Nope! I did slightly regret letting go of my 2015 Mustang GT that I traded for my 19 GS. Mostly because I had done a ton of mods including a supercharger so the GS always felt under powered to me. Don't get me wrong the GS was better in every other way but definitely missed drag racing the boosted 5.0 and the feeling of boost. But since getting my 19 Z06 I haven't missed the GS or even the GT one bit! Not really looking at drag racing the Z06 but looking forward to doing some roll racing and/or track events at some point! Honestly, I loved all the cars I ever owned but at some point I always got the itch for something new/different. I'm a manual guy, so I can't think of any other car that would give me the itch to sell the Z06 but I who knows?

My first vette was a '94 coupe that I bought in '09, owned it for 12 years. Yes it was a PITA to get in/out of and the interior had more plastic than an annual Tupperware convention. Ride was a little rough on bad roads and headroom was a bit tight (I'm 6'"3) but DAMN was that car fun to drive! It handled like a slot car and could still hold it's own with the vast majority of cars on the roads. I sometimes think about getting another some day.
In '20 I bought a '12 GS convertible and loved driving it so much I found myself not driving the C4 as much so I traded it in on a '19 1LT coupe. I loved driving THAT so much I traded the C6 GS for a C7 Z-51 vert, although the C6 was an amazing car I just don't find myself missing it all that much.
I then lucked into a deal for a new '23 C8 so the '19 got traded which leaves me with two fantastic Corvettes in the garage that I'm very blessed to be able to have. I still kinda miss that old C4 though.

I miss the first one, the last one and every one in between. I am lucky enough to have been able to own at least one of 7 generations, but the one I would buy back in a heartbeat is the `71 coupe I owned for 21 years. When I bought it, it was on a trailer and in boxes. I rebuilt it, broke it, rebuilt it again. It stranded me 2400 miles from home and came home on a trailer behind a rental truck with a 45 mph governor, but I loved that car.
21 years and I don't have a digital photo in my computer............. I need to fix that.

Nope, after the first time I launched my 2019 M7 Z06 all memories of my past Vettes faded away.

Do I miss my 69, vert that was upgraded to an LT-1, 370HP/350? No, but I do miss being young, single driving a fantastic Vette and dating some great women which led to marrying the one I'm with.
Don't miss the 79 Vette, it's low HP and lots of issues.
Sort of miss the 2004 coupe. It was a fun car, but that A-4 transmission was B-O-R-I- N-G.
Owned the 2014 coming up on eight years and have no desire to sell. And YES, it's an M-7

My only other vette was a 1987 Maroon on grey. Had the Doug Nash 4+3 over-drive system and was absolutely gorgeous. The C4 was a technology leap of significance with its new styling, huge hood and dashed graphics. Mine was a near perfect example and worthy of keeping, but young family made it impossible back then. My C7 is just a gorgeous, easy to own and fun to drive car. M7 and some other factory goodies make it a keeper this time.

As for many I suppose.....
....after a long list of Japanese sports cars in 2004 I bought my first, a 2002 Black C5 manual coupe. I miss the shape and yes, the pop up headlights. I ended up selling it to the guy who bought it new (he was recently divorced, his wife made him sell it when they had their first child, as this is what he told me).......
