I Have a 2019 GS A8 2LT and outside of the damn Brooklyn pollen and the occasional pigeon after almost 4 years my carbon fiber top looks and polishes up great.

GM prevents ultraviolet light from degrading them a special additive costing over $60,000/gallon it is added at three-percent concentration in the thin clear-coat layer $2000/gallon No way aftermarket Carbon parts using that kind of clear protection.. most will get damaged from UV eventually.. not GM stuff though
