Nice! I'm going to the summer nationals in vegas next month. My first retirement trip. I may stay a couple weeks and do some house shopping. Maybe hit Texas and Arizona too. 27 days of working life left. I made it

Just did 6k miles on my bike in 15 days, 15 states. Rode the strip in Vegas and got out of town. Not a crowd person.
Love your pics though, keep 'em comin'!

If you travel back home at night, be careful; there has been lots of commercial truck "debris" on the interstates.
I hit some in the dark in the mountains in Colorado. Some seriously nasty stuff.
Be safe, post lots of pictures.

You could also avoid I-40 construction in NM by taking dropping down in Holbrook to US 60 and picking it back up again in Amarillo. Be sure to stop for pie in Pie Town NM right on the AZ/NM border.
However you go, be sure to enjoy the trip and "See the USA in your Chevrolet" (Dinah Shore) Corvette.

If you haven't left Sedona yet and prefer Interstates to US highways, an alternate to I-40 is to drop down to Phoenix on I-17 and pick up I-10 through TX. I hope you had time to zip over to Jerome while you were in AZ.
