Where did you buy those wheels and can you get them in black? Do the come in the 19 and 20 for the Z51?

'15 Vert here. I drove 3.5 hours to get mine. I had 3 criteria. Had to be a convertible, manual, and DSOM. Mine was loaded so I lucked out. I get compliments about every 3rd time I take it out from every age and every race. This past week alone I had a young middle eastern kid staring out the window of a business I had just parked in front of asking me it that was mine. Said it was a bad a$$ color. A few days before in a hospital parking lot a black woman in her 60's stopped cold in her tracks as I drove past her to tell me my car was 'gorgeous'. White woman in a new Range Rover, to kids in a beat up Camaros. I'm convinced its the color. I rarely have the exhaust opened up. People in traffic, gas stations. Well healed and those who don't have much, kids to seniors love this color
Great looking car. I have Sebring Orange, which is also a great color. Be prepared for a lot of looks, as these unusual colors seemingly gather more attention at car shows than red, black, gray or white.
I get a bunch of compliments on the color. I searched for awhile to find a 15 or 16 DSOM 7spd Z06. My only regret with mine is that it doesn't have Kalahari interior.
That’s a tough call on the interior color. My personal opinion is the more black trim on the outside, the darker the interior. The least black trim on the outside (including non-black wheels), the more it calls for a “tan” interior.
there is an interesting trend that starts with this orange, and progressively become a lighter orange with each color release. Personally I like the metalflake in the colors that allow it to change in different lighting situations. That DSOM looks like caramel in some photos.
By the way, Maisto has a DSOM Z51 C7 corvette, sometimes available on eBay or some shops. I believe there is a Z06 version by another mfg in case you want to have a 1/18 scale model of your toy! The Z06 version is spendy, and there are no opening features
