I recommend everyone have their Corvette covered by a lifetime ceramic coating
I can’t edit the thread but anyways, i think everyone will understand what I was trying to say. I recently had my Corvette detailed by a local company that does ceramic coating’s, among other things. I had the lifetime Onyx ceramic coating applied and I couldn’t be happier with the results. No more spending countless hours having to detail my car for car shows since the ceramic coating helps keep my car clean.

Just like your car never runs out of gas if you keep filling it.
Ceramic coatings, like carnauba wax, create a sacrificial layer that erodes away over time and needs to be topped off.
Don't get blinded by the shiny marketing wankery.

What makes it "lifetime" is reapplication of the coating on an annual basis.
I hope you weren't charged extra for a "lifetime" coating -- or if you were, it was simply prepayment for the next seven years of annual reapplications.

yes it is ..business is a sponsor of our corvette club and warrants it for as long as we own the car. I’ll report back later on how it holds up. For now, I’m more than pleased with the results!

This is what it says about the ceramic coating I had applied to my car. Only time will tell if it holds up - I’ll let everyone know later on if it does or not

I too recently had my GS paint corrected and ceramic coated. In the past, I just didn't think it would be worth it. I finally broke down and after searching and researching, I found a place that I thought would also match my attention to detail. I'm now a believer! I initially thought I did a good job caring for my vehicles, but after seeing the results they were able to provide, I was blown away. Maintenance now is easy and quick. I was given a 9 year guarantee on mine, assuming proper maintenance is also done along the way. I'm sold on it now, assuming the paint is properly corrected and the quality and application is done right. All steps that were either out of my abilities or that I personally didn't want to commit to.
We had my wife's Macan done as well, plus the wheels (removed, cleaned, buffed and ceramic coated). Results were night and day, even though I thought it "wasn't that bad" to start

Looks just like my Z after a nice coat of hand applied wax. And I give myself a lifetime guarantee.

First off I am a believer in ceramic coatings, but I know a few professional detailers and they have told me that the best ceramic is good you 7-9 years. and that is if you come back once a year for maintenance. I also notice it says for as long as you own the car. There is the lifetime. We all know most never keep the car for your lifetime and it is sold or traded ever5 to 6 years. Pictures in a well lite garage makes just about any freshly detail paint finish look great. I call my 60K mile 2015 a 10-30 car. That is 10 feet away or 30 mph it looks showroom, but in reality, it has a few battle scares form to highway rock chips.
My 2015 just a few hundred miles short of 60K miles coated with Adams Graphene Advanced Spray Ceramic coating. Then my C6 that I sold to my the C7 it is done with Adams UV Spray Ceramic Coating

I was at $1600. I was mostly looking at the paint correction since my car had lots of swirls and imperfections on the nose and just above the rear brake ducks. I did some touchup with a paint pen and some clear, but never tried to blend it in. They ended up taking care of all of it, as well as really getting after the swirls. They did their two step correction and ceramic on the GS and only a one step on my wife's Macan (which still came out amazing). Hers would have been $1200 (but we added other services like wheels and interior).

OP, it looks like you actually had a graphene coating applied. I too had my car ceramic coated in the spring and I've been very happy with the results. There is some maintenance involved with it if you want to make it last.

No such thing as a Lifetime coating. Depending on how much the car is exposed to the elements, expect an average of around 5 years. I actually went with Graphene coating for both my Volvo and Grand Sport. Graphene provides a bit harder surface then just ceramic, and since both cars are kept outside I wanted the best protection. Also I have PPF on the front and mirrors of both my cars.

Had my Vette fully wrapped with xpel and then did the the Adam’s Graphine over it my self. I did the wheels on my Camaro too. Makes life easy. I just use a 1700 psi pressure washer and blower/chamois. No wash mit, no rubbing.

Had mine done with just a one year warranty. I didn't go all out with the coating because I know a three stage pain correction is in my future. Maybe after I have that done, I'll get the better/longer coating done. I just had the minimum done as a stop gap because my car sits outside all the time.

Cynics will be cynics, I suppose, but I had my C7 ceramic coated back in February, 2021 and have never regretted the choice. I own a fair bit of Griot's Garage kit, and I'm sure I could have done much of the paint correction myself, but the result - my 2014 C7 looking flawless - required both time and effort to achieve at a time when I had a surplus of neither.
Unless you're someone's financial advisor - in which case, you should probably steer them away from the Corvette at the outset - I'm not sure how you can quarrel with the money coaters charge. Certainly, ceramic isn't a 'lifetime deal.' There are caveats. For what I wanted, however - a C7 that looked like it just rolled out of the showroom, in perpetuity - ceramic coating delivered.
I had the IGL 'Kenzo' coating, which is a four-year ceramic, applied at Best Coatings in St Louis. I take the car there each year to have the coating 'refreshed.' Does it cost a good deal to apply and maintain? Certainly, it does. But the Corvette is not a negligible investment for me, and I want to keep it looking as good as I can for as long as I can.
