Default Display fixed my 2014 vette

About a week and 1/2 ago I got my display fixed and it was the display itself because the wiring harness was fine 800.00 part plus labor !!! Mine was slowly going black and especially if you hit a bump in the road sometimes it would come back and sometimes it didn't work for several weeks !! I really needed when backing out of parking lots or some times your car was surrounded by big vehicles !!

I thought the majority of the display failures were actually the ribbon cable. Others have indicated their repair was closer to $1,200 and the part was on BO for quite some time. Glad you got it fixed but I feel bad you're out the 800 bucks.
Thanks for posting.

Good deal! Once in a while just remember the C8 owners whose needed warrantied parts are backordered.

Same thing happened to my 2014 - dealer replaced teh screen and all has been well for a couple of years now. Luckily mine was replaced under an extended warranty.

Count yourself lucky. The screen went blank on my wife's 2016 Lexus. The Stealer replaced the radio for $3,500!
