Do you think this C7 worth it?
I'm looking at this 2019 C7 1LT convertible. It has 15K miles BUT... Does have a few issues on front bumper. Is this car worth 58K?
Opinions?

I wonder how much it would cost to paint the bumber. On a past car the paint was pealing and it cost about $600. If they would go down to 55K or 53K would that make up for the 1 LT? I have a 3 LT now and had some issues some were saying were due to 3LT. I do like the heads up display but I could life without. The heated / cooled seats I dont use much and pre sets on steering wheel position is touch and go if I have it set right.

I do not think I would pay $58K for a 1LT car. JMO.

Not a bad deal for a convertible, the chips can easily be repaired. 1lt you are not really missing much as far as great features. I would try to get a couple grand off but in the end I would go for it.
Even though it's a 19, for a base convertible the price seems high, IMO. I'd pass. It needs more than paint correction.[/QUOTE
Does its convertable design make it worth more or is that seen more as a problem waiting to happen.

Price seems high to me for a 1LT with paint issues.
Yes, convertibles bring a little more. Personally, I haven't found trim packages (1,2,3LT) to make a lot difference in cost at resale. Sold my 1LT GS convertible at asking price (that was on the high side) in less than 4 hours after listing it for sales on this forum. Having said that, some purchasers shy away from 3LTs due to the dash delamination issues/risk.

Perhaps, most importantly (for me) is if it has a known history. Can it be verified in any way? Service? Where did it come from? Auction, or... ? Used cars are risky, used sports/performance more so. Just sayin'... Good luck.

I have gotten deals over time and I have over paid at times! When have I over paid—- the color was what I wanted—-
the interior color was what I wanted—-
It was a convertible—always with me —- except my 63 coupe
then attractive options or engine maybe!
point is —- to me it’s ok to overpay , some, if the car turns u on! How much u overpay depends on how much it turns you on and how deep your pockets are!
