Headers - Ceramic Coating Shops Approved by the Hive.
Based solely on Heat Reduction and full coating inside & outside, who are the best shops? Of course Jet-Hot is the top name in the market, but due diligence has me asking so I do not overlook someone who is competitive on price and coating quality. Any forum vendors I should know about or Good Friday specials?

I don't have a shop or brand to recommend but I do recommend ceramic coated headers.... cooler under hood temps, and better looks... I have them on a C5, C7 and on a '88 Camaro for 20 years and still holding up well...

Check out this article. Decision is up to you but this swayed me not to coat them if I buy headers.

Just this week I received my ceramic coated headers back. In the end it really came down to Jet Hot vs Airborn (Ceramic coatings) The company I chose to do the work was Airborn Ceramic coatings
Very many choose JetHot because of the name. And they have a larger selection of coatings. And higher prices to match. Contacting Jet Hot really feels like your just another number. For standard coatings, Airborn is cheaper in cost. And they will take the time to talk to the customer. For standard ceramic coated silver polished headers, Airborn was my choice. Their work was as good as I've seen on other coated exhaust parts. I'll be happy with Airborn.

Kooks in the article stated that ceramic coating is "overkill"....it may be but they are not taking into consideration how close the spark plug boots & starter are to the headers in a late model Corvette. I definitely would have them coated ( not wrapped )

Thanks for posting the article. Not a surprise on Jet Hot’s answer - after all they are in the coating business.
