Luggage Capacity?
How much luggage a C7 hold? Vacation being planned to the West Coast and will have 1 large checked bag, and 1 or 2 carryon bags. Want to rent a sports car for a week, probably through Turo.
Any other suggestions?

Ok, I finally put the load in the car. The bags are not full but I will include the measurements of the items at their "full" values.
Black suitcases: 22 1/2" long, 12" wide, 13" thick (Height As Seen)
PC bag between suitcases: 18" long, 13" wide, 5" thick (H.A.S.)
Red Bag on top of PC bag: 9" long, 9" wide, 5" thick (H.A.S.)
Brown bag at right: 22 1/2 inches long, 15" wide, 12" thick (H.A.S.)
Big Red Bag: 20" long (L-R),8" Wide, 11" thick (H.A.S)
Camera case: 12" (L-R), 8" wide, 8 1/2" thick (H.A.S.)
As you can see, it all fits just fine with a couple of spots for small junk. All of this and I STILL have room for the fire extinguisher sitting on the rear center floor of the trunk!
The final picture is all of the items sitting on the floor in a plan similar to the one in the car.
As you can see, I have the convertible and the coupe can do this too and more.

With a coupe you can easily get that in the back with room to spare.

Wife and I went on a 10 day road trip. We had 2 carry-on bags, 2 small/med size duffel bags, 2 folding camp chairs, 2 jackets, and in the front part of the cargo area a small cooler with sodas, a small bag with road snacks and space left over. It all fit with room to put the roof. Your large checked bag may be a bit of a challenge to fit, but you should be fine, and have room to spare. I think you could put the large one cross-ways in the front part, and the 2 carry-on bags sideways behind it.

With the luggage you propose, you should have plenty of room in a C7. Good luck and enjoy the vacation.

You should have plenty room for all the luggage you mentioned. My wife and I have taken several trips on our C7 and it is surprising how much the C7 can hold.

Lots of room in the C7 Coupe, works best with soft duffle bag luggage.

I have a coupe and it's awesome how much you can fit in the back. I'm a musician and I can fit everything I need for a gig in the back, a 2x10" Fender Combo Bass Amp, my gear box, gear cart, fan, mic stand and bass in the passenger seat! Always fun pulling up to a gig in a Corvette!

My wife and I usually travel with that amount of luggage and we have no problem fitting it into the rear hatch of my C7 coupe. Not sure if a convertible will be able to handle that...

The convert has 60% of the storage space of the coupe. Inevitably someone will post that I'm wrong and the convert has more storage. But just disregard them.

With the top stored in the trunk, there is an area of about 18" from the front of the stored top to the back of the seats, full width and full height.
There is also room underneath the stored top, just use small soft duffle bags underneath and lay a blanket over them to protect the underside of the top.
More room for small objects along beside the top.
We find that driving with the coupe top removed is noisy and windy, so we usually don't do long drives that way. On vacation; we leave the top in place for the highway driving, take out the luggage when at a hotel, and can store the top in the trunk for local touring.
The convertible has advantages for topless driving, but the coupe can still work pretty well.

More Room Behind The Seats
I drive my car to road races filled with helmets and racing stuff. Packing is always a problem, even with my C7. The C8 has less space and the space has a bad shape factor.
After investigating shipping stuff instead of packing it, I decided this was not a good idea.
I found I could put up to four medidum size soft bags behind each seat. The seats of course will not retract as far with the bags back there. This is the biggest nuisance when try to get in or out of the car.
For a trip wih few stops this was a good solution to the lack of space problem. In practice, I usually pack the bags behind my seat and none behind the passengers seat so the thewife has the maximum leg room.
