Is it just me ????
Or do you guys think The C7 is just flat out better looking than The C8.I am on the list due up pretty soon but I'm not sure I can give up My Z06 for a C8.

Love my C8, haven't missed my C7 GS convertible at all, though thought I probably would. I will keep my C8 Z51 until my Z06 spot comes up which will 2-3 years. LOTS of improvements with the C8.

The C8 design has grown on me since introduction, but my 2019 GS is really nice! I drove a C8 on the NCM track after driving my GS and it is amazing, but my GS did really nice too. The C8 interior is pretty, but tighter than my GS which is really nice. The C8 NPP exhaust is nice, but my GS NPP is much nicer. I could go on, but I'm pretty sure you get the picture.
Now, I am on a list for an "E-Ray" (or whatever it will be called). At this point, I am excited about the prospect of 4-wheel drive, over 600 hp, and much better overall fuel economy (I know, 'fuel economy' is a bad term, but at 72 my racing years are over) in the E-Ray, but my 19 GS is really nice. Unless the E-Ray really shines, I will probably keep my 19 GS.

I think they are both good looking, but what is best is left up to personal tastes. I love the looks of my C7 and the front engine. Most new rear drive sports cars look like futuristic bugs. You can respect the technology and capabilities of them but that's not enough for me to rush right out and buy one at this point.

I suspect you will get C7 as best choice on this forum and C8 if you ask over there. You will have to decide for yourself which is the best choice for you. My opinion is stay with the C7 but I am a front engine long hood, short deck kind of a guy. I bought my C7 in 2019 and made my choice then.

I do like the looks and the capabilities of the C8, but there is just something about the design of the C7 that keeps me from wanting to get on a wait list for a C8. Looks like I will be keeping my C7 for quite a while, which is just fine with me.

I'm in the same boat. Number 63 on my dealers list. I'll be honest though, I'm just getting the C8 Z06 to flip it. Until the ugly rear is freshened up, nope from me.

I agree totally with you. The C7 is a much nicer looking Corvette than the C8. I don't know how many years the C8 was in the planning and design stages, but surely they could have come up with a far better looking car.

Well I like the C8. I think Chevrolet hit a home run when they designed it. Im just not sure if I could do the repairs on a C8 as they age. I do all my own work on my cars so im content with my C7. I like the engine in the front.

It just doesn't look like a Vette. It looks like a Ferrari to me and I have to have M7. As much as I like the C8 front end is how much I hate the rear ends...just my opinion

When I first saw the C6 GS I was in love, and still am, with it’s curves and it’s classic proportions. When I first saw the C7 I was not happy with all of the angles and slashes and the too busy rear fascia but I eventually came around because it is just a better Corvette in just about every measurable way. Today the C7’s styling actually is fairly conservative compared to much of what’s is on the road. When the C8 appeared it had so many cuts and slashes and angles and such a busy rear fascia it made the C7 look plain by comparison. I’m confident that the C8 is superior in every way to the C7 but from a styling standpoint I wish they were moving back to a less cluttered appearance. As to the mid engine vs front engine business, well the C6 and the C7 were both traction limited so I’m on board with the switch to the mid engine chassis to put the power down.

I've had Vette's for almost 40 years...C3, C5 and now C7. I think the C7 is the nicest looking of the lot...not a fan of the C8's looks, mid engined complexity and lack of a manual transmission. I won't be trading my C7 in...likely ever.

My feeling is that the C7 Z06 looks good from all angles where the C8 looks good only from certain angles. I currently have a 2019 M7 Convertible Z06. Was on the list for a C8. Drove my friends C8 several times and immediately took my name off the list.

For me the C7 is simply just the coolest looking Corvette ever manufactured. Right behind the C5. C8 is fine, and I will probably buy one eventually for experiencing a different driving feel. But I am in no hurry because of how much I enjoy my C7.

Yeah GM left me behind with the C8. Was on Stingray and Z06 lists and requested both deposits back. Saved me a lot of money. Love my 2019 GS too much to part with it. I was afraid that if I got the C8, I'd miss the C7 GS and want another one. Waste of money doing all that when you know what you like. It's all personal preference though. Get what you like is what I always say.
