Stitching color on 3lz?
Hello all! I’m looking at a 2017 z06 which is supposedly a 3lz but the stitching is white. I thought the 3lz had either red or yellow stitching? Or am I wrong?
thanks!
thanks!

It was a factory option. You can color them with fabric pens. Many here have.

Red, yellow (and blue) were optional stitching colours on 3LZ. By default the stitching is white if you have a black interior and you had to option red, yellow or blue.
Its cheap but time consuming to change the white to whatever colour you want using a dye pen and about 4-6 hours of work labour in your garage.

Ok, thanks for confirming!
aside from stitching, is there anything that you can easily see that differentiates a 2lz from a 3lz? From looking at pictures between a 2lz and 3lz, it’s not always easy to quickly see the difference, unless it has red interior or something and you can easily see that color on doors and dash. Thanks!

- VIN
- Suede roofliner and pillars
- Nappa leather (appears smoother with less bumpy grain like texture)
