Soler Throttle Controller
Question for those that have had both the original model, and the new Bluetooth compatible model; other than the obvious addition of features, and the additional modes, in the modes that are common between the two, have you noticed any difference between the two? I see that there are a few of the older models always for sale in the for sale thread, and occasionally the new model, which always sell pretty quickly.
I'm not sure that I need all of the additional modes that are in the newer model, and might be perfectly happy with the older model, but wanted to see about potential differences in feel for those that have had both.
Thanks

You may want to reach out to Mike @ Soler to see if the TC maps have improved or if its just the interface.

I didn't have the original model but from my experience the BT version means you can install it hidden and control it with the App. So easy to use and worth the extra $ to not have to run wires, take interior pieces apart to have constant access to it. Mine is behind the carpet by the gas pedal. No exposed or even needing access to.

I 2nd what Raidercop says. Who wants to stick the display unit anywhere on the dash so it's visible. Hide it under the carpet and forget it, use your phone to control it. As for all the extra settings....why not?? You have so many ways to customize just to your liking.
And did I mention the customer service?? 2nd to none, Mike answered my email in less than 5 minutes

Once you connect wire to foot pedal you can put it anywhere you want.. I mounted mine under dash area , I can pop it off if ever needed, but never have had a reason to yet..

I installed mine under the arm rest. Truth be told....after the first week I determined Sport 6 (Vitesse) is what I like. Never changed it in the years since. Could have just kept the controller under the carpet.
