Painted 1/24 Die Cast to match my cars color
After looking for months for a 1/24 Die Cast C7 Corvette in Sebring Orange and not being able to find one, I decided to take a yellow apart and paint it the color that I wanted. Attached is the final product.

Wow, you did a great job on the model. Give me an idea for one to match my car. How difficult was it to get all the pieces that required no painting off the model?

Thank you. Very easy to take apart. Two Phillips heads screws on bottom to remove the base and wheels all other pieces have a tab on the bottom that you just push up and remove the pieces. Then put wire at the rear bumper to hang upside down so you can paint the underside, don't forget to lightly sand and wipe down with alcohol to remove oil from your hand. Easy Peasy. If I can do it anyone can. Good Luck it is a fun affordable project.

Nice looking piece.....well done.
Q: Any suggestions for changing my 2 C8 models' WHEELS (1:18, 1:24). Wheels are Black...I want CHROME (yea, I'm old school).

I've done two, one to match my '99 C5 in 1/24th scale and one to match my 2016 shark gray C7 in 1/18 scale.

Great job OP
I had to purchase 2 kits to gain a wide body vert with stage2 Aero.
Not the greatest paint work.Factory stripes and proper colors ain't easy when patients run out.

Melting Slicks
It's not die-cast, nor is it a C7, but at least it IS 1:24...
