Made a stupid mistake
So I have my car up in the air and in the process of changing transmission fluid differential fluid and oil and brake. I made a stupid stupid mistake and grabbing the wrong fluid to fill the differential. I filled it with the transmission fluid. I realize it halfway through so Nevers ran the car but how can I get all of that fluid out of there besides just draining it.

Just drain it. Let it all drip out, have a beer or two and video the experience! I cannot see a problem.
Good on you for doing it yourself. All a learning experience I guess.

Good advice. I would put a bit more proper fluid in after the drain. Drain again and fill up. You will be fine.

Not stupid, these things can happen especially if distracted. When working on my vehicles my cell phone is off and my wife knows not to disturb me unless it's an emergency.

Just how hard is it to change the fluid to the new stuff on a 2016 Stingray? I don't know if mine has ever been done.

Good that you caught the mistake before driving the car. As said, just drain the fluid then run some more proper fluid through the diff to get as much of the ATF fluid out as possible. You will be fine.

I remember when I was a kid some old timers would put diff fluid in a plastic bag, throw it in the open diff and close the cover up, with no problems.
Not that I'd do that in a 'vette, but it's pretty robust. if you're worried, run for a few hundred miles and change it again. A little foreign fluid in there isn't a big deal at all.

Will transmission fluid float on top of the rear end fluid by density?
I would just keep overfilling it with rear-end fluid, do it two times just for peace on mind.

Don't feel bad, I was changing the oil and filter on my pick up and after draining the oil and putting on a new filter I started to add the new oil. Just as I was starting to add the new oil I realized I had not installed the drain plug. The real bad thing was I was doing 2 trucks that day and it happened both times. lol.
