I did. I also tried it with the post strap type,

The Tong type made lifting out much easier.

So chevy has $188 battery with 24 month where it used to be $149 for 42 months. Die hard has one OEM fit for $199 with 4 year replacement, more CCA and more RA. Will the Die hard still work just as good in the car and with the Corvette trickle charger?

Yep they are led acid batteries. The tender works great with any of the ones you listed. What's important is to get the one that matches OEM size and meets or exceeds performance.

So this one looks like it exceeds the OEM so it should be good?

My comment is that it would behoove one to drive to my guy at Wong Engineering down the road in Vancouver for your Corvette mech work...... I learned it's hard to deal with the con men called "service tech writers"... they are amongst the questionable dealer types throughout the country and on this planet Earth. I Always feal the service tech guys and gals were selling gizmos or flapjack's last week...do they know what I'm talking about here? Trust is a big deal.. Communication is a big deal... Wong be honest!

I just had mine changed yesterday on my 2015 that was built in August 2014 – almost eight years ago. It was still working fine but I thought I might be pressing my luck at this point. I did my research and had my dealer put in a ACDelco Gold series 48HPG (GM p/n: 88865275). Pricey but I had a $25 coupon that helped. My dealer only charges a flat rate of $25 for labor on battery installations. Total cost was a little over $200. GM also has a $10 rebate going on right now but I didn’t like all the unnecessary information they require on their rebate form. So after reading their privacy statement I decided ten bucks isn’t worth giving them all the detailed info they wanted. Check out the ACDelco web site https://parts-catalog.acdelco.com/acesCat.php? Lots of choices.

Like I stated earlier in this thread, the Delco 48PG or 48HPG is the Delco battery you want. Dealer may try to tell you it's been superseded to something else but I don't believe it has and since MWAZ purchased one yesterday which proves it's still available. It is a little more expensive as the 48PG or 48HPG is 770CCA/120RC70AH compared to the 48PS 615CCA/110RC/70AH.

Yes to both. ^^^^ About $75.00 +/- installation charge.....

I think over $300.00+ at the Chevrolet dealer.

When you make a thread that concerns a dealer. good or bad, please name the dealer and location so everyone can get the best service available.
This alone would solve a lot of peoples concerns.

Smells fishy. Here in Austin several weeks ago two dealers stated the 48PS is the only one in the system. I think it’s 36mo (edit: appears to be 30mo per ACDelco) but need to check on that. I had to go to a Cadillac dealer to find one in stock. $149 + tax + $15 core. Obviously, there are many options that fit but they "claimed" that is the only one in their system for the car.

Says exact fit on my C7. 730CCA looks good to me. Not sure how it compares to the AC Delco recommended by Kevin. I'd look at those too.

Getting mine changed right now. 4 years old. Daily driver in Northern IL. They said it was low and may last awhile with a charge. I'd rather not risk it.

205.00 installed. OEM 42 month battery.

That's the battery I put in a few days ago in my 2015 Coupe.

I had put in a new battery 1 year ago...similar OEM replacement Delco.
When I hooked up to the CTEK Multi US 4.3, I selected the standard mode. (temp range greater than ~ 49 degrees).
Whoops, with the cold weather in OH over December/January (often down to single digits), I went out to my storage facility to see how it was doing and change the mode to cold weather (handles temps into the negatives).
The battery was completely dead.

Took it out, returned it to the dealer, and got a new battery for no charge.

Reinstalled it, back on the tender in cold weather mode, and so far, everything is doing well.

Glad I got a free replacement.

New battery did not have the integral handles (darn), but I got it swapped in with only a small abrasion.

That would sway me to AC Delco.
