I'm going to paint them.

If you want to turn a classy looking car into an eyesore, this is an excellent start.

I wouldn't do it, but if you would like....go for it. Post some pics if you do.

Lord no, you have a very nice looking car as it is.
Where are you located? I have a '16 Z06 silver painted rear wheel that is cracked, you can borrow it and experiment with a rattle can paint if you want.

1st Vette I wanted was a 2000 vert, black with kalahari top and interior and matching wheels and I wanted the car. The car before was a 97 Bonnevile, champagne/ tan with gold honeycomb wheel wheels. Great looking.

I have Kalahari interior and Plasti-dipped my wheels bronze over 1.5 years ago.
It's held up surprisingly well (including a 2400 mile trip from CA to TN), and I'm very happy with the results. Zero peeling or chipping.
The whole project took a few hours and was about $100 for everything

Bronze or tungsten maybe. Kalahari? Yikes!

Ever look at the car's wheels beside you at a stoplight? It's usually pretty obvious which ones have been painted by the cracking/peeling paint.
Your car, color them as you like, but it's wise to power-coat them as opposed to painting.

WOW! Great feedback everyone! Thank you.
I'm thinking 2 different options.
1- find a plasti dip guy who can match the top color.
2- powder coat to match the top color.
Either way I go I think it will be great. Since it's going to be my winter set of wheels, and the car is only driven when the roads are clean in the winter, I think it will look unique and not suffer from abuse. My summer wheels will continue to be the factory chrome which have not cracked as of yet.
This project is definitely moving forward. Keep the comments coming guys!

here's a link to a guy who powdercoated his wheels to match the top
he claims in the ad "BRONZE wheels (powdercoated to match brown convertible top)"

from the photos above, it looks like to me he used a similar color to the bronze offered at Dip Your Car (which is what I used).
The color in person isn't as dark as it looks in photographs
They now offer a 1 can spray that removes the need for a separate clear top coat

An alternative color is the vintage gold, which would look great on your car- it's a bit more of lighter beige color

There's also a lime gold color from this brand
My top is black, so I didn't have to worry about the wheel color exactly coordinating with the tan top
