22922352 Spoiler
Happy New year all!
@Keith Richards (or anyone), I like the looks of this spoiler (Keith's photo):
It's this one: https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-pa...oiler-22922352
I see a similar (identical?) one at ZIP: https://www.zip-corvette.com/15-19-z...-splitter.html
The one from ZIP appears to be all one piece; the one at GM Parts direct shows small end pieces at each tip. ZIP's description is that it's the factory original version, so I'm not sure why it doesn't show the end pieces.
Regardless, for those of you who've used the either version, do any holes need to be drilled into any existing body panels?
TIA,
Larry

Although the picture does not seem to match the product, the one on GM Parts direct, the diagram looks like a stage two splitter, it has end caps on it. The one on Zip looks like the base or what is called on the Forum the poverty splitter. The one in the picture you have is the poverty splitter, I added the poverty or base splitter to a 16 Stingray I owned, got it off Ebay for a little over $100, it fit very well and did not have to drill any holes or anything. I just took out about 8 or 10 bolts from under the front end and it fit and bolted right back up and looked very good. It was about a 10 or 15 minute installation job. There are many of them for sale on Ebay at a reasonable price.

The one I posted is a original GM part, it mounts with existing screws underneath that are holding your flat air panel below the car and also about six rivets or screws that you drill. This makes the install exactly as GM installed them as prior to drilling I looked at my 2019 GS that came with this same stage 1splitter. Even with the drilling it should be no more than 15-20 minute install. I will get pictures shortly underneath if it helps? None of the holes you drill or existing screws are into body color painted parts.

One other thing, for me I wanted to add on a original GM part not a copy so if that is the case with any others do a google search of any other discount GM seller and look at the shipping costs as part of your determining factor as from what I remember I paid $20 or less shipping as some will be $60 or more.

Thanks much. The sentence above is what I was concerned about; thanks for spelling that out. If you wouldn't mind, I'd appreciate seeing any photos you can easily take.
$124.00 with free shipping seems like a good deal on this ebay auction item: https://www.ebay.com/itm/114478263922
Is that one similar to yours?
Thx,
Larry

I did a little digging and I did buy mine from Cultrag on eBay do to shipping costs, gmpartsdirect shows $307 just for shipping right now which would put it over $450 with tax. Anyone interested might check with Cultrag direct as I believe they are a forum sponsor. Here is a screenshot of it on eBay.

More Pictures, you can see the couple of rivets you put in that come with it, if you don’t have a riveter I would get a few self tapping sheet metal screws and use those in there place as looks to me without air will probably create buffeting

For instance these splatter guards were aftermarket and fit fine and direct copy of GM’s part which were 4x more at the time.

Just a small suggestion... maybe consider the same Front Lip in the Carbon Flash painted option from ACS or another supporting vendor.
More money but a huge improvement in looks and it matches the other Carbon Flash parts on your Car, at least to me.

My experience with the eBay "copies" is that they are not made from similar plastics. At least not the one I tried. Looked and fit perfect. First unfortunate scrape and it splintered/shattered. The OEM spoilers will scratch and flex but not shatter. YMMV.

I added a poverty splitter to my 2014 and I think it looks much better than a car without a splitter. The poverty splitter does not come
with any end caps.

I put the standard spoiler, aka poverty splitter, P/N 22922352, on my 2016. Didn't paint it. I got mine from Haley Chevrolet since my son works for Haley.
