Your thoughts on purchase of a 2017 GS LT1 1600 miles
My appreciation to anyone of you who can proffer an opinion that might help me. I'm out of my C6 now and have been casually looking at C7s (and vaguely flirting with ordering a C8). I have an opportunity to get a 2017 Grand Sport LT1 with only 1,600 miles on it. It's a a Grand Sport but otherwise option-free. Manual transmission, white. Asking price is $62K, which seems reasonable from what I've seen in the current market. Anyone with thoughts, please chime in.

That is a good price and milage for a '17 GS. But there's is a big difference between that car and a C8. Are you shopping price verses performance? The C8 is a totally different car! For me, I would consider the GS, it's priced right and with the low miles, you should still be able to sell it for the C8 in a couple years when the demand is lower. Good luck!

Great car if you are ok without HUD, and heated and ventilated seats, I have a 2019 GS 2LT and those options are added to the 2LT plus a few other things.

IMO $62K is a heck of a deal! In May I paid around that for a '16 LT2 Z-51 convertible with 3K miles.
A M7 GS with those miles? I'd be all over that as long as it's a color you really like.

That’s what I’m thinking. Need to take a close look at the tires. Not so much for milage and aging as it clearly didn’t spend a lot of time in the road.

If you like the color and do not mind the lack of options, the car sounds like a good deal. I wouldn’t wait too long as it probably won’t last.

$62k plus T&L for the 5 yo GS. I would definitely get the brand new C8 instead with new tires, non cracking rims/wheels and all new fresh fluids.
Plus you would get a warranty with the new C8.

I put 99,750+ miles on a '15 3LT MN7 - zero problems
I put another 15K miles on a '19 - A8 - again, zero problems...

I've owned 7 vettes, six of them were 'fully optioned' cars with most everything checked off. I'm now driving a zero option 2019 Grand Sport as well and it's by far the best car I've ever owned. I miss exactly nothing.
In this market, that's a pretty good price. Nice car!

Price is good. However. I'd want the equipment of a 2LT at the very least.👍

Let's break it down:
- It's a Grand Sport - PRO
- Super low miles - PRO
- Manual - Personal preference
- 1LT - CON (unless you don't care about options - again personal preference) Id suggest a 2LT minimum as others have
- Price - PRO (in this market) Id offer $60k and see where you land
