2000+ miles trip to Corvette Museum / Nashville
My first long trip with the C7 Z06 and I couldn't be happier. Left Wednesday evening right as NJ was getting hit with the hurricane. Was planning to drive through PA to get to Bowling Green but decided heading south through VA would be a better choice as PA was getting pummeled with rain. The first 2 hours of the trip was through a torrential downpour without issue (running Michelin Pilot Super Sports). After that it was clear sailing.
Over the 2200 miles averaged 66 mph and 23.7 mpg (full V8 mode and wickerbill in the up position). Valentine 1 with JBV1 application came in handy especially in VA where you can go into stealth mode and switch off the V1 warning lights and just use the phone to show warnings.
First time at the museum. Was cool to see and talk to various people about how it came about. Did some trips with NCM and then headed off to Nashville. Nashville we stayed at the JW and first time I used valet mode which worked flawlessly.

That looks like it was a ton of fun! I've never done anything close to that many miles in a single trip with my C7, but it is definitely comfortable enough to pull it off. I need to stop talking about it and just plan a nice road trip sometime soon...posts like these really are inspiring!

That is one great trip you two took and good to hear the Vette handled it with zero problems. Nice pics and I agree, the Churchill Downs one is very good.

Thanks for sharing your pics. I'm glad you enjoyed your time here in Kentucky. Hopefully you will visit again. Your Corvette enjoyed seeing its birthplace!
