C7 of the Year - Unmodified Finalist 2021
I think it misses the mark of being futuristic and nothing reimagined here but some copying of others.. It looks like a C7 stingray/widebody with very minor tweaks... That similar style hood is currently available by Ivan Tampi Designs and others, the front grille is very similar to the current Z06 grille with minor tweaks, same wide body fenders and quarters, overall lines are almost identical to C7. The only thing original is the side skirts and I guess if you want to call it that is headlights so not impressed at all with this rendition.... I guess a Ford Designer would want to hold back on making an awesome design for a competitor brand as this seems like a tongue in cheek prank rendering....... IJS

Finalist 2020 C7 of the Year -- Unmodified
Like the C7 better just the way it came from the factory. Besides the headlights I do not see the futuristic part.

I do like the hood (although a similar version is avail now) and the exhaust tip area is pretty cool. Otherwise, not the revolutionary.

Resembles a movie prop car. Not a lead one either, just a background set one. I'd take a crazy George Barris creation over this muted 15 yr old Ferrari design anyday. Stay at Ford and continue bastardizing the Mustang name with your Mach-E redesings please.

0-60 in 1.1 seconds. I've had two cars in my life (well now three) that would give me, I'm not sure how to describe it, a vertigo sensation when I floored them from a standing start. One was a '70 Chevelle with a built small block and 4:10 gears, the other being my '19 Stingray and neither are anywhere close to a 1.1 second 0-60 time. I honestly think I'd be afraid to accelerate that fast.

And, the point is...?
(how many who are not Ford designers have done much the same over the years... with every car imaginable?)

I just love the front of the C7 the way it is.
