Cash offer of 53k
Dealer offered me 53k cash for my 2014 C7 coupe, it’s a 7 speed manual, 3LT, Z51 with 20,000 miles in mint condition. You guys think it’s a good deal? It listed for 69k new.

Its a good deal but if want to replace it remember as high as the price is for your Vette so will the price of a replacement be high

You have an 8 year old car and using your numbers (listed new 6$69k / Offer $53K) that a $2000 per year depreciation. And if you paid less then $69K it only gets more amazing in your favor.
In my opinion I would be all over that offer!

Just my opinion, but yes, that is a very good offer, especially since they will have to ask more for the car to make a profit. If you are looking to sell, now would be the time.

I think they should add $5K to the deal.

Do you need the money or not? Also, are you ok with being Vette less?

C7 of the Year - Unmodified Finalist 2021
I have my 2014 exactly how I like it and it's paid for and supercharged and no way would I sell it and all the Carbon Flash is replaced APR Carbon Fiber so it's my custom Carbon Fiber Edition. I am not a cookie cutter clone type so if I would get something else I would need to mod it so it doesn't look like ever other car. So, a money grab is one thing but you still need to put 30k with it to purchase something comparable and then make mods to that new car but that's just me and my philosophy.
I will keep and continue to enjoy what I have as this is my 4th and last vette and every time I get in the seat it brings a huge smile and joy ........next will be something like a electric Hummer down the line.

It is easy:
If you would rather have the money, sell the car.
If you would rather have the car, do not sell.
If you would rather have the money, sell the car.
If you would rather have the car, do not sell.

I have the same configuration (except a few less miles and 2015)and wouldn't sell my car unless it was closer to 60k lol.
Again, what would you replace it with? If you actually have an answer that makes you feel good, then do it. Otherwise, just enjoy the fact that your car has appreciated for a few years

Its just to hard to believe that they can sell that car for a profit after putting that much in it. Usually its a trade where they make it up on the purchase we make and overpay for!

That's about $12K more than you would have gotten a year ago; as soon as this chip shortage resolves it's self, all used prices will quickly take a major nose dive! Can't wait!!!
