For those that do their own diff fluid change:
2019 GS, 2,500 miles.
Drained a little over two quarts. (I am able to tilt the rear up and down on the lift.....found that with the rear slightly lower than absolutely level drained the most fluid).
Added almost three quarts of new fluid back in (with the car level).
Obviously, my car was low on differential fluid when it left the factory. Apparently this is common.
The experiences of those before me (on this forum) helped a great deal. Much appreciated.

Regarding differentials shipped "low" on fluid... there was once a link here (on the Forum) to a thread where the CEO of the company that makes the differentials was explaining why they really weren't shipped low on fluid though they appeared to be by GM's filling instructions . Of course, no one seemed to have explained any of this to GM. All rather odd.

I just changed mine on my 19 C7Z last week. Took about an hour, removed 2.4qts of fluid and put 3qts back in. Once I got the tools lined up it was a pretty easy process.

When I got my free oil change at 500 miles (with Z51). At my request, the guy working on it let me watch. I asked him to check the diff fluid level, and he said it was fine. He just stuck his finger into the fill hole. I watched him to make sure he actually did.

After reading previous posts about early diff fluid change, I wasn't surprised at the nasty looking stuff that drained from my differential, at only 2,500 miles. Dark fluid, with silvery stuff floating around, and a glob of gunk stuck to the magnetic plugs, both drain and fill plugs. The new GM fluid I filled the diff with was light colored and clear.

The diff fluid always looks bad. I've changed mine 3 times in the last year...always comes out funky. That first one tho...yikes! It wasn't done prior to me owning it. I changed it before she had her first track event last summer. Changed a couple more times way ahead of the required interval for track use. Now I'll stick to the schedule. I had wanted to cycle fresh fluid in a few times extra since it had never been done. My car has 72,000 miles now. First diff change was probably around 60K?

Changed mine last night on my 17 w/ 1100 miles. Little under 3 quarts back in. Didn’t measure output. I think that is about the standard amount. Love how easy this maintenance is designed. Faster than an oil change. It’s one of the reasons I have a Corvette

Changed diff oil using 1 gallon pressure tank rather than usual hand pump and last half quart picked up considerable amount of air from the dip tube.
Never had this problem before.
Will the air quickly dissipate through the vent tube or should I drain and refill?
I was thinking I could just recheck fill level in a week and top off if needed

Changed my motor oil and decided to change the diff oil while i had it on the Quicklift. Easy task with the right socket swivel. I did not measure out put but put just shy of 3 quarts in it. I have a 2019 Stingray with 9000 miles. Feel like i got a lot accomplished today.
