Who is lucky enough to own two or more corvettes at the same time???
#61
My uncle!!
He owned several. Most recently, he had a 55, 63 (split window), 68, 07, 14, and the 54-55 prototype SO 2151. The first 5 have all found new homes with people who will care for them and give them new life (in the case of the older cars) or enjoy the ride and style (in the case of the newer models). I’m looking for the SO 2151 so that it may go to its intended home, the National Corvette Museum, as Uncle George always intended.
His cars gave him great pleasure and he loved sharing the history with other Corvette fans.

Until recently, I owned the following Corvettes:
- 1967 black/black 435 hp L71 vert w/side pipes - everything original incl. red lines. 2nd display in Corvette Museum when it started in retail store space
- 1969 black/black 435 hp L89 coupe w/6,800 original miles - all original incl. tires
- 1968 IMSA/Trans Am race car; finished 2nd Daytona & award for fastest qualifier, 222 mph. Displayed in Corvette Museum
- 2016 C7 Z06 w/upgraded 710 hp
Sold the first two to acquire two very iconic cars

C6 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
Recently bought the '19 for long road trips and local fun.
And keeping the '08 for a while to play hard on short distances, like 1/4 mi at a time.

I don’t have a C7 but can I play?
It would’ve been 3. I had planned on buying a C8 but I don’t love them in person as much as I did in renderings. And no stick shift is a deal breaker for me. So I added a twin turbo Viper to the collection.

For the first time since I purchased my first Corvette back in 1993 I am lucky enough to have two Corvettes in my Garage at the same time! I tried a 1980 Z28 last month but found instead what I really wanted was what I had in 2003 and 2004 two different 2003 50th anniversary RED Verts.I stumbled across this gentleman that owns 6 car dealerships in Illinois but is 83 years old and can not drive anymore so he sold off his 12 or more Corvettes from his collection . Got this mint, perfect 2003 50th Anniversary RED Vert A4 3:15 performance axle and 12 CD changer. Car has only 3600 miles on the clock a little more than my 2017 3LZ A8 Z06 Vert LOL! Selling the 1980 Z28 which is black so I am back to being 100% Always Red Dave Again!!! LOL POST YOUR PICTURES GUYS! Thanks Dave

Drifting
I had a 69 L46 4 speed roadster and a 99 6 speed manual convertible at the same time. Both are long gone. I bought a new 13 3LT GS 6 speed manual convertible and traded it for a 19 2LT Heritage Package GS A8 convertible. I only have a 2 car garage and the other bay is occupied by the wife's 69 Camaro SS.
