I do the usual bolt ons that can be removed if I decide to sell (exhaust, intake, TB, headers, maybe a shifter, etc) and then lower it and do the usual visuals. Nothing crazy, but I like to make it mine a little.

may I ask what sound mods you have done? I have a 3lt with I’m guessing the upgraded Bose speakers but the sound coming out of them is just sorry compared to the Bose in my Infiniti. I’m not a huge sound guy but I do enjoy listening to my music in the car at good quality levels. I would like to have that same level as my Infiniti which is pretty fricken awesome for a little suv.

Mods can be performance, function, appearance, or simply preference oriented.

I can’t complain about the Bose stereo system! To me, it sounds great, but then my hearing sucks! Hearing aids in both ears and only 20% hearing in one of my ears. So, I’m very happy that I can hear the music! 😄

I only modify what I can personally install and/or remove if I decide to sell the car.

To me, the car would have been perfect had NPP been standard on all models.

That said, I've added an aftermarket exhaust. I'd like to upgrade the audio, but the new exhaust suppresses the desire when I drive.

I desperately wanted to modify my C7 until my recent purchase of my C6Z. Now, the C7 remains stock while I’m planning to upgrade performance, function, and appearance of the Z06

My C7 will remain fairly stock. It's a great daily. I LS swapped and did a body on restoration on my C3.. The C3 is in a continuous state of being modified lol..

Agreed, though it needs to be cranked to properly shine IMO. Doesn't seem to blend the frequencies and such properly at lower volumes.

I've put custom stereos in every other car I've owned, and this is the first that doesn't need it for my preference.

Not sure what the base audio package sounds like though.

Otherwise, have ARH mid length headers on the way and a catless x-pipe awaiting their arrival.

Current mods are MGW shifter, triple disc Monster Clutch, and aluminum release bearing support for the new slave (got the car with 20k miles and it already had issues...may supercharge in the future).

This is the first new Corvette we have ever bought and it is the first we did not feel the need to modify. The only "mods" we have done to our `19 GS is XPEL Ultimate (full front, A pillars, rockers, side skirts, brake ducts & rear triangle) and an after-market front license bracket that stays in the trunk!

I like to personalize my Corvettes. Some call it modifying, however I personalize each car to my taste as I plan to keep them and drive them and really don't care about resale value or keeping the miles low for the next guy. I think we have all heard the joke comparing Corvettes and girl friends....

Anyway, most of my mods are cosmetic with the only performance mods being exhaust systems and CAIs. For my 2019 C7Z, I didn't need much beyond the factory Z07 option, Jake CAI, and Comp Seats. I added Forgeline wheels, however I'm a known "wheel snob" and usually prefer aftermarket options both from a performance and looks perspective as well as a custom Shark Gray full C&R-inspired body stripe.

My C5 required more extensive modifications as it's a 2004 that I purchased new and automotive technology regarding lighting, interior trim levels, etc. have really advanced since 1997 at the beginning of the C5 run.

Default More about limitations

On my '14 Z51 torch red, conv., 1LT, 7MT I have done the following "performance" related mods (well, mostly had them done); aFe CAI, Z06 grill with brake ducts connected, Corsa Exhaust, MGW shifter and brake pads (don't recall brand). On the cosmetic side you have; Lloyd Floor Mats, black vanes added to the rear valence, GS front splitter and side skirts (cheapest factory, plastic), new D shaped carbon/leather steering wheel, a few red trim pieces (starter button and climate control trim in red), that small shelf divider behind the radio, some very cool but not cheap LED lighted skid plates (says "Stingray") and an aluminum oil cap.
Sorry, no pictures but it's the limit of; my funds, my (lack of) mechanical skills and my "taste". And I believe I have reached the limit of such short of winning the lottery.

Please refer to this page for the complete install. The whole thread is lengthy but a great read for anyone interested in performing an audio upgrade. I highly recommend reading all of my posts plus those by JMII, among others. Note that I originally attempted to install the Pioneer woofers recommended by the OP, but when those did not work out, I went with the Audio Legions and a fabricated mount. I will post a few pictures below, but most of the images will be found in the linked thread.

Audio Legion midrange with custom speaker ballast

Killmat in cargo bed

Kicker sub and LC2 line out converter

Subwoofer gain control in cig lighter

Mod... tastefully, and easily undone when selling/trade-in.

I always have to make my cars my own, but usually nothing too drastic. Really depends on how rare the care is. There are a lot of corvettes around, so I think some subtle changes are a necessity for me.

Red stripe on wheels
Red stripe around stinger stripe
Front splitters
Side splitters
Z06 Grill

side markers and taillights are tinted.
Removed the tacky "corvette" lettering on the back
Lloyd mats
Custom plate

MGW Shifter and Race ****
AWE tuning X-pipe
