Default Fluids

I am sure its in here somewhere, so my apologies. I spent some time searching here and my manual but did not find everything I needed. So here we ago

I am planning on doing an Oil/Filter, M7 Trans and Clutch fluid, Rear Diff Fluid change. This is a new to me 2017 Grand Sport M7.
Here is what I have so far with quantities:

1. Engine Oil - 9.8 Quarts Mobil 1 0W-40, PF64 Filter
2. Rear Diff -- 3 Quarts ACDelco Dexron LS 75W-90 gear
3. M7 Transmission Fluid -- Manual Transmission Fluid (GM Part No. 88861800) (Quantity UNKNOWN)
4. Clutch Fluid -- GM Part No. 19299570, Super DOT 4 brake fluid (Quantity UNKNOWN)

So, I am asking if anyone has the underlined quantities above, as well as any other suggestions... it is my first time doing this full service on this vehicle. I have a good friend with a lift we are going to use. Youtube video links welcome, he his very mechanically inclined however he hasn't worked on a C7 before. With that in mind, any other service recommendations while I have this opportunity? The car has approx 21,000 miles on it (19,000 when I got it and service history unknown).

Thanks! and again my apologies if I didn't find the thread that already had all of this.

You might want to replace your brake fluid while you're at it.

Stop by any Chevrolet dealer and get a copy of your GMVIS report. It's going to have the records of when it was serviced at Chevrolet dealers, and what the procedures were, if any.

My 16 took about 3.2 qts of diff fluid and the trans, as mentioned above. Just about 4.5. I never did the clutch, so can't help. Maybe buy 4qts of diff, return one if you don't use it.

This thread will answer most of your questions regarding the tranny and diff fluids:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...d-service.html

As for the clutch - most just use the Ranger method to exchange the fluid, 250ml was enough for me.

*EDIT*
JMII beat me to it!

Here's a write-up I did on the M7 and differential fluid change: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...d-service.html

I wouldn't recommend putting 9.8 quarts of oil in it or you may be burping up some into your intake.
9.5 qts at the very most, 9 is even better, then check.

Also:
There's a newer version of the PF64 filter. The old version, GM part number 12640445 has been superseded to 12696048, which is a little shorter and I believe the # of inlet holes changed as well.

"Ranger method" of routine DIY R&R of your clutch fluid reservoir is where it's at! Be certain to buy the DOT 4, fluid!👍

your C7 came with DOT 3 brake fluid from the factory. Don't know if you can mix them. Won't matter if you are doing a complete fluid replacement. See page 316 of the owner manual.

Clutch fluid is DOT4. Pentosin DOT4 LV is recommended.

Brake fluid is DOT3 but you can switch to DOT4 - and yes the two can be mixed. At some point the factory fill changed to DOT4 but the earlier cars had DOT3.
