is it really worth the extra 20-40K more? As I said before I get it for people that had the c7 before but for new owners I dont know. I'm enjoying my c7 now big time. And have a good color yellow I like.

I was looking at the sticker on my '15 3LT Z51 I had built which was $78k and change... Made me think what a great deal the MSRP 2020 really is. For the money it is tough to beat!!!
I think both cars look awesome in the photo here !!!

Two great looking cars. Maybe it’s the camera angles, but the C8 appears to be so much bigger than the C7.

The C8 being larger was my impression when I saw one in situ. The one I saw was black and even at that it appeared to be rather bulky. The side by side in the same color certainly confirms my first thoughts.

I'd be in a bought new C8 right now, except for that ^^^^ aspect. I'm glad that I shopped and bought the C7 M7 Stingray convertible new, when I did. A classic FE C-Series.

That pic makes the C7 look dated to me

It not only LOOKS dated...it IS dated. I own a C7 and have driven a C8 on two occasions...the new car is truly sensational. I will order one as soon as the pipeline is flowing well and cars are plentiful! White or Red!

Thanks for posting these pics. Everytime I see the front ends being compared my eye goes to the C7. There are a lot of similarities in design between the two and both look amazing.

Just from pictures I've seen I think the C8 looks better sans-spoiler. That helps clean up the rear end which is bit busy.

The aqua colored C7, with the lambo doors, in the background, looks better than both the white Corvettes. To me, white dates any car including the C8.

I love the front end of the C8 - (I like it better than the C7) (Winner C8)
I like rear end of the C8 - (I like the C7 rear the same as the C8) (Winner C7 & C8)
Im OK with the side view of the C8 - (I love the side view of the C7) (Winner C7)
I hate the interior of the C8 - (this is why I bought a C7 cause the interior of the C8 looks like it was designed by a 3rd grader) (Winner C7)

Commenting solely on looks:
I think the C7 is a spectacular-looking classic sports-GT. Very few beat it in it's class. It's why when they came out I immediately wanted one and was thrilled to finally make that happen.
The C8 is a nice-looking example of a mid-engine GT. Unfortunately, compared with the Miura, GT40/Ford GT, most McLarens, and damned near every mid-engine Ferrari ever made, I think the C8 falls short. Hell, I'll get slaughtered for this, but I prefer the 2nd gen MR2's looks -- even worse, I find the Cayman (OMG) to be smoother and more of a piece. I do think the C8 Vert looks better than the Coupe and I hope to have one some day as I love the proportions and performance of mid-engined sports-GT's and I'm cheap. Ergo, C8
Just to be clear -- it's not like the C8 is ugly; it's not. It's just that the OP's comparison shot brought me back over a year ago when I first saw the C8 in-person at Kerbeck's. There were, obviously, a lot of C7's parked nearby. I was with my son and we both agreed the C7 was the better-looking car.
