Default So disappointed

I stopped by Corvette World and seen a beautiful 2015 Z51 on the showroom floor today. I wanted to buy it but thought I'd give it more thought and come back during the week if I decided to pony up the money. When I got home I told my wife the car was so nice I'm going back to get it. I drove straight back to the dealer and it was sold. Wish I would have just manned up and bought it. Now I'm thinking maybe I should start searching for a Grand Sport or maybe something a little newer. Anyway, very disappointing day. I'm looking forward to getting back into a Corvette.

If you have to ask your wife than stick with a KIA! My money my choice!

C7s are HOT right now as demonstrated by the decrease in availability and higher prices sellers are getting. If you find one you like you better jump on it or someone else will.

She was onboard with it. I'm the one that couldn't man up.

"My money my choice." He never said it was his money. I've friends who spend their wives' money all the time.

That's funny. Actually we have joint accounts and separate accounts. In 15+ years of marriage we've never argued about money.

Yeah the market is pretty hot. It reminds me of the housing market. The house is sold before you can even write up an offer. A guy on this forum just sold a Grand Sport to Corvette World. I would keep an eye out for that. 2019 Black grand Sport. A8. Like 1300 miles. It's not going to be cheap.

It was a good sign it was sold. You will be better served with a GS.

I did the same thing once with a car I wanted. I looked at it at the dealership on Saturday afternoon, went home, gave it some more thought, called the dealer Monday morning and learned they sold it an hour after I left 15 minutes or so before they closed for the day.

Ouch

An excellent way to handle money in a relationship.

Best of luck finding the car you want!

I saw that GM had released the incentives last December. I had been waiting for weeks for it to happen. Called MacMulkin and luckily got a salesman on the line because their phones were ringing off the hook. Asked if a car was still available. He said yes and someone just called and asked him about the same car. I gave it about 15 seconds and told him it's mine! That's the car I own today. You can't delay sometimes. So glad I didn't hang up and think about it.

Too bad the car sold before you could finalize a deal, but that seems to be the way things happen. Sometimes you just have to make a decision on the spot.

Never commingle any financial instruments. Or anything else for that matter. It's easier to split when the time comes. What's mine is, well, mine!

I had a 17 GS and now have a 19 Z06. The GS was a great car but the Z takes it to a whole new level. Either one would be a fine choice but I love the power increase.

In a Community Property state, unless it is inherited money, it's half hers.

You'll find one. Now you're prepared to immediately jump on a car when you find it. Here is a video at Corvette World explaining the rising prices for C7s.

If he tracks the car, yes. If not, no.
