Just about 2 years now without any issue, I am not concerned in the least this issue will ever occur on my vehicle. I have taken steps to mitigate the possibility dash failure will ever occur. I understand the physical science behind causation of this issue and I have studied this topic issue at length. What my study has shown me is this problem has been greatly exaggerated by others who have no factual basis for their opinions they hold. Many have based their beliefs on perceptions others have provided which are based on anecdotes of others, some who have never even had dash failure occur to their own vehicle. I put my faith in science and actual data. I'll leave anecdotes to others. Automobiles are never engineered based on anecdotes.

It appears to me that the oft quoted 1% problem with the dash on 3LT/3LZ by MMD is off by a factor of 30!
Funny thing is that he NEVER has any FACTUAL DATA to back up his 1% CLAIM

3lt dash
I’ve always use Meguiars on mine. It doesn’t sit in the sun for extended periods and it’s garage kept. -yet it still lifted from the defrost vent. I’m just hoping a praying for a new post (cuz these are getting old) that shows a good fairly low cost solution for this issue.

Personally, my 3LT dash is on the latest part number that was released on 5/1/20, replacing the earlier revision which was released 10/1/17. Even this informal poll indicates a 30% failure rate, which is a lot higher than MMD's "1%"

[QUOTE=berniet;1602158712] I think mr. MMD just likes to be in other peoples conversations, from what I have read there could be 30% that have bad dashes. it could be more or less...Berniet

I just noticed a bubble in mine on the passengers side at the seem about the size of a ping pong ball!
You can press it back down but it won't stay. Like the glue isn't sticking anymore?
