What things do you dislike about your Corvette

v4 mode and tire noise are about it for me.
Competition seats could be just a little wider, but I went in eyes open. Proper adjustment is critical for comfort with these seats.
One more thing: I'm disappointed in Chevy for not figuring out and fixing the Z06 cooling issues during pre-production testing.

It's hard to complain about the car. My biggest problem is more of a concern because I'm worried about the 3LT leather having issues on the dash. (I've had it replaced once).
- The driving experience has been great
- AWE x-pipe and MGW shifter/**** has been just enough to make the sound and shifting experience perfect.

My complaints....
I will never go back to Camaro and really love the Corvette, she cant help it she was built on a Monday.
- Fit and finish on some of the panels, all my Camaro's 4th, 5th, and 6th generations had better fitment
- Also I have had to take it in many times for service for items such as cracked paint, door panel replacement, door seal failure which allowed water to get in the car

2019 Stingray-
Panel misalignment
Paint flaws
Throttle lag
Cup holders (am I the first to mention that?)
Intermittent CarPlay operation (I’m not sure that’s the cars fault though)

The stereo does suck. I had 2 Mitsubishi Eclipses with 650 watt Rockford Fosgate systems with subs and sound adjustments that completely blew this system away. GM should be ashamed of themselves for putting this piece of junk in their high end car. I am trying my best to like the system but have been regretting and missing my other cars because of this. The stereo system is really what makes the car fun. They obviously cut corners and dropped the ball here.

I was not liking the ac until I turned the temp down then it got real cool.
Road noise is deafening unless on a relatively new pavement even after having the cargo area insulated. Thinking of trading for a vert which blocks off the cabin from the back.

I bought non-NPP exhaust on the theory that I always could add an aftermarket exhaust if I wanted a different, more robust sound, really haven't minded the base exhaust and so haven't bothered upgrading..
Seats (base 1LT) were nothing special, but I added sheepskin covers which made them absolutely cushy and raised me just enough that the bolsters don't feel too close while still providing support in cornering. Worth every penny. (Rocky Mt. Sheepskin as recommended by a fellow CF member.) Here's a whole thread on the covers:

My only complaint is the stumble/hesitation in throttle out of first. Very minor, and I have my sights on a Soler TB and controller which seems like it solves that little problem. Best car I've aver had, overall.

You guys with road noise.........what tires you running? Ive got Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ ZPs and they ride nice!! Especially compared to other cars and tire set ups.

Ohhh thanks for reminding me... yeah I hate that too.
I have the premium with its joke of a "subwoofer" - its not very good. Compared to other high end OEM systems its clearly sub-par. Compared to the aftermarket is like a clock radio in a hotel. While the speakers are cheap its really the Bose amp and processing that is handicapping the audio output.
The noise complains I believe, like the stereo complaints, really come down to what you are used to or your previous experiences. You want a LOUD interior with TONS of road noise? Drive a Nissan 350Z for 7 years like I did. The C7 is super quiet on the inside in comparison to that car on RE-71 high performance tires. Thus its all relative

Totally awesome car but to pick nits:
- road noise
- Little cop colored lights on rear view mirror but I’ve gotten used to them now
- low resolution rear camera
- black on black on black visor buttons

The exhaust sound, just doesn't measure up to the competition, even with aftermarket options.
Sound system doesn't match the cost of the car.
But overall, love the car, especially the styling.

My only complaint it worrying about the wheels breaking. I may just buy some to replace the OEMs and get it behind me. Everything else is good. I can accept having the torque tube replaced (will be replace Monday). Just one of those things. I won the lottery on that one.

The unbelievable amount of brake dust from the OEM pads. Will be switching to PowerStop ceramic pads.

I have the same complain - and my reason is they come on in borderline situations and cause the dash display to dim to the point where it disappears. For example start the car in a dark place (like a garage) then back out into the bright sun, there will be a few seconds before the backup camera image is visible. And yes I know you can manually turn the lights off but its temporary. This is super nit picky for sure, but hey why not just have a normal off switch like every other car that has auto headlights? Also why no sensitivity setting? Mine come on if I drive down a tree lined street.
I just unplugged the mirror problem solved.
