Default slight smell after hard acceleration

Hi folks, I notice a weak smell after hard acceleration (foot to the floor) up to about 5500-6000 RPM. 2014 M7 vert. Clutch isn't slipping, isn't an oil smell, no leaks. Seems like a very weak exhaust smell. No codes, nothing else seems out of the ordinary. It may be coming from the engine compartment but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

Default I have the same car

Torch Red 1LT Z51 Conv; the smell(s) I get are slight clutch and brake scent....nothing extraordinary on my end. Sorry I couldn't offer something more concrete. Does seem slightly more pungent on warmer/hot days but that makes sense as well....good luck

Maybe there's a small exhaust leak around your exhaust manifold...at that RPM the pressures are up in each cylinder...may be a small pin leak...

If it smells like burning rubber then everything is working perfectly

Was your top on or off? The draft created by the car will sometimes pull some of exhaust gases just forward enough to smell them.
