Thanks, and don't worry, it sleeps safely in our garage. I just parked it there to take some pics, as I had none yet.

Thank you!! I have gone overboard with mods in the past, so I will try to take it slow this time, ha, ha.

Congrats , why would you park it like that with one side on sidewalk ?

Secondly wrong transmission choice, should have gone with a M7

That's a good looking Vette! Maybe he parked it that way so it wasn't sticking out on the street too much. Nothing wrong with the A8. To each his own. He'll be very used to an auto when he moves on to a C 8.

Thanks, I seem to go back and forth between Silver and Black Vettes. Silver is a lot easier to take care of and doesn't get as hot that's for sure.

Thanks. First of all, our streets are narrow and are only meant for temporary parking, so that is a curb, not a sidewalk I am on. Second, it was raining, and I was in a hurry to snap a couple of pics before it started raining even harder. It was parked like that for less than five minutes, then it got put in the three car garage.

As this is my fifth Corvette, I have owned two manuals and three autos. For the track I prefer sticks, but for the drag strip and day to day driving, I prefer autos. I am glad you like your seven speed instead.

Thank you! I think the manuals and autos both have their places, and have had both in the Corvette. Technology marches on in the C8 for sure.

If you bought it from Stingray Chevrolet...I had that car tagged as a possible one to purchase! Great car optioned just right. I have to sell a house before I can but a C7, we recently bought our retirement home but the other home has not sold yet because of all the Covid rules. Hopefully soon.
Glad it found a great home with you! Congrats.

Absolutely love it...going every other Vette gen there was a huge difference in improvements on all fronts. My son will also inherit my C7 one day...but this will be my last Vette and I'm 63 now...so I hope that it will be MANY years from now In the meantime he's thoroughly enjoying his Mustang that he bought new 5 years ago. All the best!
Why would this be your last Vette? I’m 66 and just bought a 2018 GS, equipped very much like yours. I came from a C6 ZO6 and like this more. Not quite as fast, but it is light years ahead of the C6! In The future, I plan to get a C8 and God willing, a C9. If you can still drive, then a Corvette is the one to drive.

Beautiful Vette, enjoy and be safe,

Thanks, and yes, I will enjoy this, pass it along to my son to start his Corvette obsession, and then upgrade again to a C8.

Yep, I got it a Stingray Chevrolet. It is a 2LT, but optioned out like a 3LT, just without the suede leather, which I did not like on my 2013 C6 3LT Grand Sport that I traded in. Good luck on the sale of your home, hopefully you can sell it soon, and get a 2019 before they are all gone. Thanks again!
