Default Car transport reccomendations

I have used Bulldog Trucking a number of times, but want to get some more input. Moving to AZ, and looking for closed.....hard or soft.

Lets hear it!

My experiences with Intercity and Reliable have always been excellent.

Intercity Lines, Inc. used by Jay Leno. Transported my car from New Hampshire to Florida, great to deal with keep informed of status thru out transport and car was spotless when delivered.

I bought my new 2019 GS 3LT from Mike Furman, Criswell Chevrolet in Balto area. They recommend Plycar. I looked at some of the reviews on-line—- some were good, some not so. I still went with Plycar thinking I’d have Criswell’s help if something went wrong. They were fantastic. Paul was my driver. I had all my paperwork to buy the car completed around Dec 18, 2019. The car was in my garage in Atlanta on Dec 27th. I kept thinking I wouldn’t see the car until well after the new year. Paul kept in touch with me several times from the time they picked-up the car in Balto, while in route and when he was a few hours away from our home. I couldn’t be more pleased. Nothing like seeing an 80 ft trailer coming down the street with your baby in it. Quite the neighborhood spectacle. Cost: $1,100 from Balto to Atlanta. I would recommend Plycar. I got pictures too if I only knew how to load them!!! Good luck.

Had the same experience with Plycar. Must be hit or miss. Very speedy delivery and kept in touch along the whole way.

I plan to post a horror story regarding a well-known carrier but not until I receive my car tomorrow or the next day but......MAKE SURE that whomever you call to get a bid with ENSURES you that they intend to carry your car and NOT broker it out.......trust me, YOU HAVE TO ASK they won't tell you. In my example, the one I called and agree on doesn't even go to my state, they brokered me to a company that doesn't even have vandalism insurance which became a concern when they were enroute to pick up my car but had to "ground-stop" due to the riots because of no insurance. They are the company that the original company brokered me to.

When I bought my C7Z from Rick Conti at Coughlin in OH, he recommended Pilot Transport. I got quotes from a couple other major carriers, but decided to trust Rick's experience shipping Corvette's all over the country. It took about 3 days for my car to transit from OH to CO. The driver (Jim) kept me posted from about 24 hours out, arriving on-time despite inclement weather. He was careful and deliberate in unloading, and the car was unscathed from the trip. Cost was ~$1500. I'd use Pilot again without hesitation.
