Rattle in the dash
I have a rattle in the dash on the right side, when it first started I took it to the dealer. The dealer took the right door apart and said they cant find it.
Last night I took the wife out for dinner in the car and she said how can you even drive this car with the noise. The wife rather than just sit there she started to empty the glove box, pushing the air vents, just going nuts. I even made her drive back after dinner just to keep her mind off the rattle It stops when its under acceleration but comes back when the car levels off.
I know that will be my weekend project to try to find the rattle

Man i hate rattles!! I took both door panels off and covered all clips with felt tape. There was also a wire harness connector that i also wrapped based on a thread i read here (ill see if i can find it).
I had a rattle in my steering wheel also fixed with felt tape, and that a/c vent tab above the nav screen is another known rattle
Best of luck to ya!!

Good luck tracking down the source of the rattle. Seems like one of the hardest things to solve is those pesky squeaks and rattles.

The problem I have found is that the noise is not necessarily coming from where you think it is. I hear it coming from one place but passenger think it’s coming from another.

Mine drove me nuts for months.... I checked everything a "zillion times." Took it to the dealer. The tech for the annoyances is 6'5" - drove the car about 50 feet... stopped. Got out..... "It's the sun visor clip." George was tall enough to hear the precise spot. Mine was a '15. Stopped instantly when unclipped... put a tiny piece of adhesive Velcro on it - gone.

I open the passenger with the car running no rattle
I put the top down close the door rattle comes back
I go to the drivers side open the door rattle stops
I get in the car close the door rattle comes back
so now with either door open the rattle stops so that leads me to believe it in the dash.
oh well tomorrow is another day.
I did have the dealer try to fix it under warranty, I think they will still take care of it even though the 3 year is up because it was not fixed the first time not sure if it's covered on my 5 year warranty.

Pass side seatbelt is notorious for this as well.
and the panel behind the pass side b pillar.

if your car is mooded,
It might be the HPFP changed it almost 3 times I'm with the Bigbore now and so far it's waaaay much better.
If you're pushing your car allot and mooded without an upgraded high pressure fuel pump it will break and cause this rattle sound in the centre of the dash, even Z06 HPFP breaks easily.

I had a rattle from the passenger side door area that drove me crazy. I checked everything and finally took it to the dealer. They took several days before the factory told them to replace the door panel. They did. It didn't fix the problem. Finally a tech from the body shop said to replace the speaker. It was not blown, but the mounting clip or whatever it attaches with was broke and that solved the rattle. It was most noticeable under engine load.
