That sounds like my roadmap. We'll see how things develop. The country, and the world, are in uncharted territory now.

When they put a MANUAL in one then I would consider buying one in a few years.

Sold my 14 Z51 with plans to buy a C8. Went to Corvettes at Carlisle and sat in a C8. I was so disappointed with the interior, that I left Carlisle and went and bought another C7. Could not be happier.

Right now my 2019 Z06 M7 Convertible ticks all my boxes. I will take a hard look at the C8Z when it comes out. But the thought of playing with shift paddles no matter how good the DCT is kind of a big hurdle for me.

Keeping the C7, just not in the cards for the C8. The Z06 is probably my last Corvette, priorities change, interests too. Still enjoy the activities around it, but as I get older, the fire is diminishing a bit.

If I can afford to keep it and get the C8 I will but if not she'll be traded in on the C8 Z or ZR.

I have a 2017 Stingray 2LT coupe and my girlfriend has a 2019 Stingray 1LT coupe. We plan to keep both of them indefinitely.........especially with the recent hit we both took with our retirement investments............and we'll definitely have to see some C8 cars in person to develop an opinion about them. From what I have seen on videos and on-line photos, the front and side of the C8 looks amazing, but the rear end looks too much like a Camaro. I also don't have a lot of love for the C8 interior and it is sad that there are no more manual transmissions available.

In the unlikely event we would decide to trade in one of our C7 coupes on a C8, it would have to be a few years down the road AFTER the bugs are worked out, prices stabilize and a more powerful engine is available. The C7 is such a great car that it makes us wonder if the C8 is really better.

C8 looks like a world beater but without a manual was a non starter, and Tadge killed any idea of it ever having one...
Might reconsider after it gets a model year or two under its belt.

Only if the C8Z looks great and has the performance to back it up. Otherwise I’ll have a very modded C7Z.

No C8 for me. IMHO it needs a redesign. Exterior is too busy. Interior is too cramped. I'll wait for the C9. Hopefully they can get that right.

I love the look/design of the C8, however, from a practical point of view, I believe the C7 is a better choice for the every day owner. I have a coup. I can place a set of golf clubs in the back. It does very well going to the grocery store, carries weekend get away luggage....etc. The base model has every creature features I need....fast as hell....more comfortable than any other corvette I’ve owned.

Enough said.....I plan on keeping this C7 for as long as I have left behind a wheel.

I like the new engine location in the C8, the look leaves a lot to be desired. Never have been a fan of the short front end and the massive rear end. I liked the C6 and C7 body style, Chevy copied foreign performance cars to my dismay.

Love my 19 Stingray. I’ll keep it but the C8 has me looking at 911s or a Vantage as my next purchase. I’m sure that may change when the z06 or Grand Sport comes out

I like shifting my own gears even if its slower. To me its part of the experience and I think personally the C7 is a better looking car.
