Default Steerng wheel cover

So I bought a steering wheel cover from Corvette Mods thinking this would be a good project to keep me busy during the pandemic. Looks great in their photo. Unfortunately their photo is not a Stingray steering wheel with their cover installed upon closer examination, it's some other model, guessing a Z06. The one they sent me looks like crap installed, not wide enough to cover the wider parts of the wheel, so there are gaps in the red that show black underneath. Looks very home made. I guess I should have looked closer before ordering.
It did keep me busy half a day sewing it on and cutting it off.
Carpe Diem

Next time I would suggest doing a search in the Transactions Feedback section about this vendor.

I dont know what you paid for the cover.. but Ive never seen one of these do it yourself covers that remotely looked factory or professionally done.
The only way to do it right is to have it done professionally or get an after market Steering wheel that was custom made for you.

It was $70 delivered. I went to the mfg. site, $63 there.
Not a bad product, just not for a C7.
I'll use it on my riding mower....……….stylin baby!
Not even going to stress over it, live and learn.

All C7 steering wheels are the same size and shape. The only difference is the trim materials used. They changed to flat bottom in 2016, but there was still no difference between the different models.

The sew-on covers only look good on old cars with skinny steering wheels with skinny spokes (personal opinion). Modern steering wheels are hard to cover properly. My friend was happy with the one he sewed on the plastic wheel of his minivan, but it hardly looked professional.

You didn't return the cover when you discovered what you got wasn't what you expected, and was inappropriate for your purpose?

I had gotten mine from Redlinegoods and couldn't be happier. Great quality and they can install it too.

Good advice. Just Google reviews for them and you will be shocked what comes up.
