Finally pulled the trigger...
While recuperating from having both my OEM knees replaced with aftermarket (NOT at the same time) I've been lurking doing my due diligence on finally getting a Corvette. Originally, I wanted to get a 12/13 GS coupe w/mag ride to do long road trips (PCH, Rt 66, Blue Ridge Parkway, etc). I felt the C6's styling would age a little better than the C7. With Z51 C7's prices coming near the GS's price, I started looking at them as well. Being a 'Wide Body" myself and reading all the comments on C7's being a little tighter I was concerned how I would fit. Well, when I finally broke down and rode in a C7, I realized the 7's checked all my boxes and more. After looking nationwide for months, I was just about to go with a low mileage Base w/Mag-ride 900 miles away, when this Z51 w/mag-ride came on the market NINETY minutes away. It pays to know what your priorities are. Don't settle for anything less. They are out there, have patience. I didn't have to have a LOW mileage car, as I plan on putting MILES on this one (has 40K). In fact, the A8 tranny has had the shudder & the infotainment screen issues addressed. AND He just put on a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport AS 3+ (less than 2K miles). Looking forward to finally come out into the light and being an active and contributing member of this amazing forum. THANKS y'all, Stay Safe. ENJOY!!!

Gorgeous car. Congrats! Now you have the perfect activity for these times. I put a 1000 miles on my new Grand Sport in only one month. Road trips are fun to plan and execute.

Beautiful Corvette and beautiful state you live in. When I was in grad school in Phoenix Arizona I would drive up on Holidays to friends in Park City. Amazingly beautiful country out in Utah.
Enjoy every mile! These are great extremely satisfying cars

Know your hesitations. Had both knees and hip replaced and questioned if I would be able to get in and out. Where there is a will there is a way and it works out great. Never get to old and enjoy the Vet.
