Default Possible 2019 new owner

Hello All
Greetings from my cave here 11 miles West of Nashua, NH
I have a few questions about the 2019 Vettes.
Have my eye on a 2019 GS with the 2LT option with the automatic transmission.
Question is ... on my wife’s 2019 GT Mustang she has a driving mode called “ My Mode “
and it lets you pick Exhaust mode, Steering mode and Transmission mode.
So for example.. she has Exhaust mode set to TRACK ( which is the loudest )
and the other 2 modes set to Comfort mode.
On the 2019 Vette .. do you have that same flexibility ?
Or say if you want to have loud exhaust you have to be in track or drag strip mode only ?
The other question is ..... can the car be set so you do not have to go into
economy mode ( 4 cylinder mode ) ? I really do not care about what kind of
mileage you get. If I was worried about mileage I’d get a Prius .... LOL ...
Thanks in advance for all answers 👍🏻
BTW ... looking at White but give me a ticket Red is second option with Black being the last option.
Rob ...

There is no "my mode" - but you can set the exhaust and steering to be different, IE: steering on Tour (comfort) but exhaust on Track (loud).

On the auto there are two ways to avoid V4 mode: get the Range device or drive in manual mode using the paddles.

AS JMII said there is no "My Mode", but you can keep alot of the DIC settings as you wish regardless of what driving mode you're in. I keep the steering in Sport, exhaust in Track, Dash screen in Sport. I don't use the automatic door lock/unlock. I do use a Range device to stay away from the V4 mode.

Pull the fuse for the NPP and it will be loudest no matter what the setting at all RPMs. If you choose track for exhaust the loudness is still limited at certain RPM range.

No “My Mode” but with a little creativity in programming, a Range Device and a Mild to Wild exhaust controller you can get pretty much whatever you want.

The simple answer is Yes you can to all those settings from the infotainment screen. It is just not called "My Mode" on a C7.

Thanks Everyone …
I have been watching almost every C7 youtube video there is on them … LOL …
I did see ( and saved ) the one about pulling the fuse for the exhaust :-)
We live in a very rural area and being a Harley rider we like them LOUD.
Right now dealers got their April deals until the end of the month.
There is already a spot waiting for it ;-)
That is a 2019 Mustang GT 5.0 California Special in its Winter hibernation ( The Wife's ).
It bloomed 2 weeks ago … LOL ….
Rob ….

I don't know what the "my mode" does to the transmission in your mustang but I know with my c-7 GS you only have two choices , drive and manual where you have to use the paddles to shift , as others has said it keeps it out of V4 .

Per the owner's manual the shift programming and throttle response also changes between the different modes:

Typo in the above chart:
Exhaust Mode should say: (if equipped) since only the NPP option will change the exhaust sound.

Why would you say this? I have owned numerous muscle cars as well as Corvettes. Have you ever driven a Muscle car? Corvette is more of a sports car.

This is news to me! So even in "track" mode, it will close the valves?

Yes, they are fun cars! Completely different cars though. My supercharged mustang 5.slow had 200+ hp more than my vette but it also weighed 600 pounds more. This is my first Corvette and so far I'm hooked, it's a totally different driving experience!

There is 2 sets of valves, 1 set before the mufflers and 1 set after. The set before the mufflers are controlled independently and not by the mode selector.

Yes, I agree! Personally, I think the Stangs are more fun on the street. Corvette is a more refined vehicle. Stangs are more visceral. I think the Mustangs are easier and less expense to maintain. Stangs have not had a fraction of the repair issues you see here on the CF for the C7. Bent and cracked wheels, A8 warble problems, panel gapping and paint issues, dashboard delamination, overheating on the Z06. I love my GS but think it will be harder to maintain over the next 50 years then say a Boss302 or GT350.
