Default Garage floor redo

I am currently re doing the garage where my Vette resides, Since buying her in Dec of 2018 I have converted a room in the house into a 1 car garage, redone the walls,( painted 3, laminate flooring on one), built shelves along one wall, and this past weekend I have redone the flooring with the epoxy paint. I know it wont melt sitting outside but this is the longest it has stayed outside since before I bought it. I cant wait for the floor to dry so I can pull her into her new finished (I say finished but there is always something to do)

home!

When putting the garage together, I seriously gave some thought to the epoxy floor paint or Race Deck tiles, but after I figured the cost of doing 1600 sq ft, I chose old school, good ol' commercial vinyl floor tile.

I still need to do some more dry wall and paint as I missed under the shelf to the right of the garage floor.. There is always something to do!

Looks fantastic...I have that painted / speckle type floor as well. It holds up but you will see over time, when wet tires sit on it over time the paint will come up and expose the concrete floor... Not a big deal except you can see "concrete tire" marks...but you can always repaint that small area.

Best to do the floor prior to move in, otherwise it seems to never get done.

Nice !! I did my garage up last month too with the epoxy floor paint.

I did put some parking pads down because the paint was lifting where the cars sat overnight, despite giving it 10days to dry, and the protective sealant (2 coats)

Anyone tried vinyl tile on top of concrete in Northern climate areas?
