I have been using a can of natural silicone lubricant on the weatherstripping on my cars for years and it keeps the rubber soft and looking good. I bought the can from a local body shop, but I would think that an auto paint store would have something similar.

What product do you use? Silicone is a synthetic polymer (silicones are a type of plastic). Thus, by definition, it is not natural.

Thus, I am curious as you are pleased with the product you ar eusing.
