Door dogs = problem solved

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...dog-2-0-a.html

GM got too fancy here with the handle-less doors, they sacrificed looks for functionality.

I received the jam handle. I'm going to wait until it warms up to install. The backside has the 3M tape on it. $25 for a pair. I'm just going to put one on the driver's side and then save the other one. Cravenspeed is a great company to work with. I bought a custom gear shifter **** for my Miata from them.

I have always wondered a couple of things:

1. Do they really sell any of this expensive, pointless, low quality useless stuff to anyone?
2. If they do sell some, who in the world would actually pay that kind of money to buy it?

NOW I KNOW!

Oh, leave it the way it is. White. I love the contrast.

NOW I KNOW!
Step1: create problem
Step2: offer solution to "problem"
Step3: CORVETTE TAX (PROFIT)

These guys are seriously selling plastic 8s with adhesive for $25? I'm in the wrong business!

Shutting the door with the latch got my hands dirty. I'm glad I purchased this. I installed it today and it works wonderfully. Like I said brilliant!

The door doesn't have a handle so I simply put one on it.

That latch looks super dirty. Glad you found a workaround. Lol

Just went and looked and there are fingerprints all over where I close the door. At least those spots do not have a coating of dust like the rest of the car. So I decided today to use my CA Duster to know off the dust. While I was at it I used some detail spray and a shop rag to get the bugs off the front and mirrors. Noticed brake dust on my chrome wheels so used it there too. I figured why stop there and got the armor all out and did up the interior real nice too. Gotta love them Chevy's. Like a rock.

I don't worry about fingerprints on either the Vette of the Ferrari.... cars, folks.. just cars at the end of the day - no matter how expensive it is.

Cars, your outdoor grill, television remote . . . almost nothing is damaged by a fingerprint.
